so, am i the only one hoping for a two-piece cowl, to allow him to turn his head?
The cape is really important aswell.
Hot toys better not screw it up.
Im very interested on how they'll do it. To gt it game accurate they'll have to make it a one piece made out of Vinyl or Rubber, i suppose they could make it a bendy neck?
Personally i like accuracy rather that articulation
And it wasn't rubber too
I'd like it too but can't see 'em making it look good.
I mean even if they're gonna do it right...
... seam still will be too noticeable.
and secondly, in regards to the bold section, why not just stick to statues?
Not trying to be antagonistic, Just curious.
Could have to do with the fact that he might like articulation, but when it comes down to it, he prefers realism, and for a suited figure like AC Batman, where it's unlikely that you'll see any visible joints, maybe he wouldn't like the seam on the neck. Personally, I'd rather there weren't any visible seams/joints, but it really wouldn't bother me if there were, as I think it's a similar scenario to the Keaton Batman's PERS, I'll have him facing forward, so I won't be able to see it anyway.
As for the suit, you CANNOT appropriately capture all of the subtle details and designs of the suit with fabric, the small cross-hatched texture of the material for example, that can't be accomplished with a needle and thread, especially on a mass scale; it needs to be sculpted, that's all there is to it.
I have faith in Hot toys. they managed to do Cap w/o going sculpted, i think they can probably pull this off.
And If not, It'll just be another rubber figure that leaks and rots that I'll be passing on.
As I said multiple times before, why does it have to be fabric or rubber? The Keaton material seems flexible enough, especially if it were modified to the specifications of an Arkham Batman, and I've yet to hear of any issues with it (Knock on wood). Also, how is HT Cap relevant in any way to this discussion? The suits aren't anything alike...
