I have also sent feedback to SS about this piece. I would like AT LEAST the paint to be tweeked. At this point I think the sculpt is off but I really don't see that being changed.

As for Josh buying pieces he doesn't like. Sorry Josh but I can't recall a single piece you complained about.

I have a feeling at least a small portion of your income is in some way linked to Sideshow and / or Lord of the Rings. This may in a small way bias your opinion in favor of SS. Just a hunch.

PS Don't take this the wrong way Josh, you seem like a great guy and I enjoy your posts.

Yeah Josh. What pieces have you ended up not ordering because it disagreed with you? Inquiring minds want to know! I'm just curious to know what type of features end up turning you off a purchase.

There have been many pieces over the years I've not ordered. I can't list them all. Couple items that come to mind are the Lando 1:6th figure or Greedo 1:6th figure. They're just not characters I care for within the SW universe or you've got the 89 Batman/Joker where the price is more than I want to pay for those characters. For me it varies from piece to piece.

I've passed on pieces I like because of price the Hulkbuster Comicquette being one that comes to mind. I tend to pass on LOTR PF's because of size and I prefer statues when it comes to LOTR.

Not every statue over the years. Thats where the price of the particular piece comes into play. Honestly, 1:5th or 1:4th doesn't bother me any at all so thats never been a factor. Sideshow has made pieces where the pose they went with wasn't my #1 choice but I liked the pose and the subject more than enough to get it. The Mark VI and Warmachine maquettes are fantastic pieces a couple of my all time faves, but I would have gone with something a bit different. There are a couple iron man pieces where they went with the very classic look to his armor that I don't care for. So I passed on those. Like I said it all starts from an interest standpoint first and foremost (well price is big too ).

I was just looking at the preorder page gallery and I have to say SS should not have waited so long. It is looking like they have lost the rights to do an accurate likeness...or maybe they just don't have ability to pull this off?

But she is not even PF so this statue is not worth bothering with.

Still about 40 exclusives left on her, after presumably a few more orders once patrons got to see and order the Ringwraith. I'm planning on ordering after she sells through so I don't have to lay the NRD. Just can't pass on a piece in this line...

So, am I missing something with the EX head? To me, I see the necklace on the EX and a little scar, but the EX face and the regular face look exactly the same. Also, does anyone know, are Sideshow's pics the final face pics, or has she been resculpted and we haven't see her final face pics?

The necklace and scar are the only differences.



For me, I am not that sure the Prototype images we have seen of Arwen are of the final sculpt Trev did.

I think/hope the final production piece will be even better that what we have seen thus far.

Ok, thanks for the info Bill! I think that's a little strange that the necklace and the little scar are the only differences. You would think if they took the time to do an alt portrait, maybe she'd have a different expression or something.
