Thanks. I'm definitely not disappointed with her, and I thought I would be. Luckily I don't have any lazy eye business going on. The likeness is also better in person that it is in the photos, although not spot-on Liv.

If one has to re-paint this piece in order to look good, then what is the difference between buying this and a $250 model kit?
I knew it !! This Statue is Awsome , BEST ARWEN EVER MADE!! I NEW the Sculpt was perfect and all I Had To do was re- paint the face, so I repainted her face, her hair and ears and added glitter effects to her costume and parts of her makeup to make her shimmer like a beautiful elf should. So yep it was just a ok paint job sent to me but the sculpt is uncannySo ... Now she LOOKs like LIV Tyler from The Lord of the Rings!! Please let me know what you think of my first custom repaint of a sideshow statue. They should hire me to repaint them all - I can't believe the difference when I finished

Man some of those painted heads look ok, while others look like a disaster. I just dont know what to think of this statue anymore...

I agree, it is a very beautiful design. But there is a problem, that the eyes are an essential part on any statue. It is the main focus on a face, and if these have problems...the rest is ruined IMO.
I really can't understand why they can't apply those decals right. It is not like they have to paint each and every eye anymore...like they used to with older pieces.

Yes, that's why I said I don't disagree with you that if the eyes are off it can toss everything else off as well.

I'm torn between ordering directly from SS as there are only under 40 left, or pick one up from the bay seeing pictures of the head first.

For this one you definitely should pickup from sideshow so you can return it if bad head.
fremen, you have to call them. It takes them 5-10 days to respond to an email asking for info, then another 5-10 days for another reply, it will take forever. if you call everything gets sorted right there.

No. SS isn't good with giving promational discounts. If you do find a giftcard, you can usually only use it on old products that have been selling slow. But you'll get rewards points for your purchases to use in the future.
