I'm totally sold. The new pics are great. I'm very surprised at how good the rooted hair looks. I can't wait to get this and futz the **** out of him. :)

I love the figure but dislike the sculpt overall. The bewildered, craggy, decrepit and lost look to the old man has me not bothering to order one. I very much preferred the stern outlook of the first proto. George, pass the word that I would like to opportunity to purchase the original sculpt with this figure. Painted or not I would grab it in a heartbeat. This figure was the one I really needed a home run in to go forward with the fellowship. Without GtG, I don't need the hobbits or legolas or boromir etc. This GtG needed to be better in the sculpt department, plain and simple. And the hobbit bits with LoTR bits. lol, not sure how that made it through. :p

I do regret having to cancel my po, didnt feel i had a choice at the time due to circumstances.

RandomHero (with 7 negative posts all in here) and the cleverly named MrCollector just sound like junior interns from a company that's trying to undermine Asmus' footing. Maybe even ACI with its bad taste in its mouth still trying to get the license. They could just be kids but even their avatar names aren't very convincing.

Asmus should take it as a compliment though.
