Love the futzing, W-G! That's one snazzy Nazzy!

Totally agree about the collar. It really does frame the "face" nicely. Did you just cut a notch out of the existing fabric? Or did you have to do some water/glue treating of the fabric in there too?

True. Wor-Gar fantastic job and now that I just got a notice that mine are shipping soon I am going to have to study up on all the futzing you did.

Thank you. Whatever tips I can share with you I'd be happy to.

Thank you too. And yes, I basically just took the available "shirt" and cut a little 'notch' in it. Trimmed any loose strings. Little dab of glue on the cut to hold and keep from fraying. Very simple. You can do this with or without the "spoon-head" thing.

The hood on mine is so stiff with whatever they used that I didn't need the spoonhead to hold the hood shape. I did have to use some of the excess material I cut from the robes to pad the back of the hood so light wouldn't show through.

That's exactly how I'd like my hood to look!
Did you trim the hood or reshape it?
Awesome!

Thanks!

No trimming of hood. It's very stiff, so I pinched it in places to create folds, and I worked and pulled the edge of the hood (the opening) to reshape. I did remove the hood entirely from the shoulders, keeping the robe part attached to the hood. Once the hood/outer robe is loose, its easier to work with and shape.

So after you re shaped it did it stay that way or did you treat it to retain that new shape?
And you took the head support out too?
Thanks!

It remained in its shape. Once you replace it on the shoulders, the support just held it. Again, you have to make sure your entire hood is stiff for this to work. Not sure if mine is overly stiff or something.

And yes, I took the head support "spoon-head" thing completely out. Mine truly has no head. :)

Wor-Gar, you've really transformed that wraith into something special, awesome work man!

If I had the patience & skill to do that, I would pick up an asmus wraith too, but for now I'm gonna have to stick with the ACI wraith

Thanks very much, RS!

I'm very happy that with some work one is able to get the Asmus wraith to look closer to the movie's visage.

Does anyone happen to have a picture of the figure without the outer robe on that would show the placement of the armor and how the elastic sleeves go on? I have mine all undressed and gotta get him back together again! Should have taken "before" pictures! Thanks!

Ughhh. Right when I opened the figure, the left hand fell off (the peg came broken) and the right knee armor fell off too.

tighter than the other body. No floppiness in the torso and the joints are tight. This time they sent the body in 3 pieces. The main body, 2 legs that plug into the thigh and it also came with 2 sets of hands and a set of feet with plugs.
