Just want to say, there seems to be a belief by some that this thread is a result of sudden bitterness or something. IMO you couldn't be further from the truth. This is a long time coming via many many different product offerings and thousands and thousands of dollars accumulated over many months. Not even the earliest of products seem to have shipped. I paid for something Oct 8. It hasn't been delivered and he's collected a lot of money since then.

My problem is simple, if he didn't want to take comissions then he shouldn't have taken them. It seems the money looked good to him but not doing the work.

I'm sure Chris will show up and set things right.
Maybe not all of us will get our commissions, and maybe some who'd rather get a refund will have to wait for the pieces they ordered, but in the end I think things will work out.

People just get pissed off when they don't know what the hell is going on.

I've always learnt that its best to count your losses and move on, if one day it comes to you then you should consider it a bonus. I won't deny that I am upset and really want nothing to do with him but stressing out over it ain't gonna change anything right now.

You guys need to remember that Chris has always come through in the past.

Again, as I said before (in another thread) he has not “come through” with any commissions…not one. The Bale, Joker, and Stark were not commissioned sculpts, He did those on his own and sold them here, and that’s how he should have continued working. So quit with the “He’s come thorough” argument.

Even if he comes back and everything is settled, even if God forbid anything serious has happened to Chris, it doesn’t excuse the all over the place sculpting and the lies about project status.

Bottom line is you guy deserve better.

I still honestly don't think he's any kind of scammer, I'm a creative person, I know the pitfalls of taking on too much work and getting overwhelmed. My showing up in this post and the House thread is because i tried to contact Chris for a refund and recieved no answer and I'm pretty sure it's been a couple weeks since I tried. Then I saw the House head for sale on ebay, and it was just a little off-putting.

Wow this is more widespread than I thought.....

He was selling sculpts across 3 boards and has not delivered any of them!!!!

My 2 cents... What I found odd was that he would start selling the sculpts on ebay BEFORE his commitment to the original buyers was met. This is shadey as hell to me. As far as i know NO ONE has recieved the sculpts, painted or unpainted, why put them up for sale??? Many feel this forum has turned into a stampede.I dont believe so. I think its fair to call the artist out if hes no coming through. I have emailed him on 2 occasion for an update and nothing..
Oh well...theres always Serang's............
