hey little update from Chris i drove past his house and managed to snap off a pic with my digital camera. Looks like he is alive but im not sure for how much longer as that one stone looks rather large and heavy......

The board can't set limits on what and how many are sold or not on here. Its not Dave's responsibility or his staff's.
Lets all understand something here too; its a fact Chris took on way too many commissions, but lets look in the mirror too. Look at Gekko's list. Did anyone stop and say "Wow this guy is getting buried"? Every time you turned around someone else was putting together another dream figure project, so many are culpable in the bottle neck that has occurred.
Its been established that he has communicated poorly. Its been established he's made a crap load of excuses that may or may not be valid (I have no reason to call him a liar) and he has said a couple times that things were ready to ship and haven't. So yeah the guy is guilty of mishandling things, but the insane dog pile that happened here by the customers is a part of the problem as well.
The mas has responded and given and estimate of shipment for some of the items, so I see no further reason to keep stoking the flames until we see if that has been fulfilled.

Yeah i couldnt understand why he was doing that, it actually baffled me as well. But i really didnt get the dude in the back with the ten gallon jack the ripper hat either..... i just kept driving....

He has responded in the same fashion that he has always been known to do, he has made promises to finish a project at a promised time. Nothing has changed imo. I have (many others too) politely asked MANY times for a refund, requests that date back to February and up to recent times. He continues to ignore.

Am I out of line asking for a refund on something that was promised that failed to deliver? Has he even started the Jack Torrence sculpt?

If he continues to ignore I will continue to post.

This is a joke, right? I would love to see someone contact any type of authority about something like this. That would be classic.

"Yeah.. this guy ripped off my money. What was I buying? An unlicensed, illegal product. Yeah.. wait why are you arresting ME!?"

Don't know about all parts of the country, but down in Florida you can take someone to small claims court over these types of matters and win. When Andgor was circling the drain they had to settle several claims in court. This is information I personally received from speaking with a rep at the Better Business Bureau. If you hire someone to provide a service, pay a deposit or down payment, and that service isn't delivered you have a legal claim.

I understand your point completely and you have certainly maintained your dignity and stayed level headed through this entire thread. I feel we all deserve an answer. My post is directed more at the posters who's anger and outrage grow with each subsequent post.
I think we all saw this coming.

i only paid for one cameron/terminator sculpt. i'd still like to see it, but if i get scammed oh well. i also paid for some GB sculpts but i paid WST not chris and i hope to still see GB sculpts by somebody some day. frankly i find this whole situation ridiculous and i can't even get upset about it. this episode combined with some other past experiences on this board has me avoiding custom projects all together. i'm waiting on heads for repainting that are going on about 2 years. in the meantime i've gotten many sculpts and repaints by other more reliable artists on this board. now i only buy what is finished already or i ask what the time frame is on a repaint and i hold the artist to that. even if Chris does pull through, i think this whole ordeal has pretty much ruined any chances for future work for him on this site.
