Spider-Man was photoshopped in that so don't get your hopes up. They took his image from the ASM2 set.
It's almost believable that Spidey could end up in a cameo, as Marvel isn't taking as much of an issue with him/Sony as they apparently are with Fox/X-Men/FF. But it would mess with Sony's plans of their expanded Spidey-verse. Wouldn't make sense to have the same version of Spidey in both universes, and having a different version would confuse audiences. So ultimately, it's not realistic.
The difference is, the rights on those two weren't clear, so both companies did what they wanted to, irrespective of the other one's preference. Spidey cannot be used without Sony's OK, so Sony would only allow it if it were to their advantage. Also, QS and Wanda are B/C list characters that only hardcore comic fans will care all that much about at this point. Spidey is an A+ player all the way, being the basis of his own potential filmverse. So there is definitely more concern over how he is represented by another company than would be the case for, say, Paladin or Morbius or whatever other Spidey character Marvel may want to use.Like QS in X-Men & Avengers? They could just say it's not from the same universe, or even he gets plucked out of his own, and that should be enough. Plus, it'll fit into Spidey's whole dimension traveling theme he's often had. win-win
Can Sony and Fox keep Marvel's properties for perpetuity? The deal can't be as long as they keep making movies of those characters? Disney is a big enough juggernaut that they can get back Spidey and Xmen back to Marvel Studios.
That Sony has the rights to Spidey, and the Witch/Quicksilver rights were never fully established? Those are both pretty well known facts.I don't think that's how the rights work.
I don't want any mixing of studios, let fox and sony continue to butcher marvels so called a list characters and let marvel studios continue doing what their doing
