Wasn't trolling. No idea who or what he is. Just read some of that marvel bio. Could be interesting. But not as interesting as a uber villain like Thanos. But I can understanding saving him for phase 3.

Oh and since when is asking questions not allowed on forums? By that logic anything and everything can be googled. No point asking anyone any questions period.

Yup, no point.

I have about 25 Hot Toys figures, and a desk full of super heroes. I got into it all about 5 years ago because of my Son who was then 2, started liking super heroes. My Wife and I (and Son of course) absolutely love watching super hero movies, animated shows, etc.

But I'm not a comic book reader.

I do know who Ultron is, but mainly from the Next Avengers animated movie (which is awesome by the way, and would be a great way to introduce your kids to Ultron).

There are plenty of characters that I don't know anything about. Saw the footage for Guardians of the Galaxy yesterday, I couldn't tell you the first thing about any of those characters.

Why dont you read comics then ???

I've started to in the last year, but only recent stuff. Not anything that would make me an expert in older story arcs.

Although I'm not taking to them much.....they're half advertisements and they're pretty short. Is it just me or did comic books used to have more content in them?

Ultron is one of the biggest villains in Avengers history. Makes sense to me.

I don't have an issue with Ultron, but it doesn't make much sense to me when we've already been teased Thanos. Unless in the movie, Ultron turns out to be another tool that Thanos uses to kill some fools.

This isn't about asking questions, it was about how they're asked. He came off as a troll that's all. That being said, you can easily get familiar in no time without being a comic book reader. Basically it's the tried and true robot-gains-sentience-and-turns-on-its-creator kind of thing. It'll be crowd pleaser no doubt especially with Simon Pegg as Pym.

Ultron in turn is also supposed to create Vision so I'm looking forward to how they adapt that whole thing.

Director said himself that he felt that Thanos was too big of a villain to put forward in the Avengers 2 and so he's holding him off until 3. No doubt we'll see some Thanos in this one to bring the up hype for his arrival.

I think at the end when Ultron dies, we'll see Thanos at his boiling point and will state that he'll take matters into his own hands.

Kevin Feige confirmed Thanos will be seen in Guardians of the Galaxy. But not sure how much of big role he has in it.

It was Djimon Hounsou that let it slip at the GOTG panel, then KF confirmed it.

Was that slip approved or not is the question.

Gotcha. That makes sense. too many threads to keep up with. :dunno

I know at the Riddick panel someone asked Vin Diesel about his "vision" for being in an upcoming Marvel movie. Diesel got a big smile, shook his head and said something about an announcement at the end of the month.

I know that's not popular with some people, but that's what he said anyway.

From what I know, Pym creates Ultron, right? And Pym is Ant Man? When does the Ant Man movie come out? Is it before A2?

Kevin Feige just confirmed that Vin won't be making any big announcement soon regarding anything with Marvel.

He said "No. It's so far ahead it may not even exist. So, there's nothing to announce. But, I love Vin and he's an amazing personality."

And yes Pym is Ant Man and he created Ultron, which is why some people are confused on how they would handle the matter since Ant Man comes out after this movie. Pretty sure they have it sorted out, just a matter of waiting to see how they're going to do it.

Aha....that's funny. Vin had quite a reaction to the question, so clearly something is in the works.

I am so excited beyond belief to see Ultron on the big screen, hope we see Pym in Avengers 2 then lead in nicely to Ant Man

So they aren't going to go full comic and start time traveling are they? Because time traveling to stop robots is something I've seen in a few flicks already and we already have Future Past on the way which is literally that plot.

I'm guessing it will all take place in the modern day, maybe Hank works for SHIELD to create a robot army to defend from aliens since the Avengers are broken up and Stark went full ***** whipped.
