Marvel should have a solid claim on Adamantium since they used it on Ultron in 69 and Wolverine didn't exist until 74.
Unless it was specifically mentioned in the sale of the property.

How can that be, adamantium is a staple of the Marvel U. and its everywhere. Its not like adamantium is a character on its own.... my understanding [limited, admittedly] is that this is in large part WHY Ultron is so feared: he's made of adamantium.

Kind of like saying "Batman wears a cape, so everyone else wearing capes is infringing on that copyright." really?

Haven't been following much of avengers 2, but isn't it kinda confirm that they will be fighting thanos?

I recall when everyone was saying that there was nooooo way Scarlet Witch or her brother there were going to be allowed in any avengers film, because they were mutants and Fox? [...? I don't follow the X-Men franchise] allegedly had title to any and all mutants, now and for eternity, etc.

But there they will be, smack in the middle of the Avengers franchise. If this is so, I really fail to see how adamantium will fail to make the cut, which isn't even a character to begin with. Unless, as previously mentioned, it was specifically included in the licensing agreement.

Only because Wolverine used Adamantium, thats the only thing that can break Adamantium in the movieverse.

Just read a few pages back... Can't wait to see the official trailer

I think ultron would originate from the salvageable parts from the dozens of blown up bits of the suit in IM 3.

The little kid Harley in IM 3 could be the creator of Ultron, since he was there when stark repaired mark 42 and learn quite a bit but messed up thus creating an evil Jarvis.

I don't care how much they pay her, they just need to realize she is far from the most interesting character in the film. The amount of screen time they have given and are giving her in CA2 and probably in this film is way too much.
