Well, that's your opinion and me and others have different ones. We take what we get. I like different characters. The main "four" have their own movies. It's nice to see other Marvel characters too.

As for Antman, I'm still not sure how they're going to do that movie without making it look like a bad 50's movie. We'll see.

I would say Renner would agree in terms of his being useless and having no connections thus far which is why he chose to publicly voice that concern. Maybe they can turn that around but not with a few seconds here and there and I'd much rather see that time alotted to properly fleshing out Ultron himself or making Stark's return to a suit seem believable.

Antman would work if they linked him to Ultron but apparently we're getting Quicksilver instead because ?

People said the same thing about Iron Man and Thor.

Yeah, but.......the guy wears antennas on his head and he controls ants. Can't he change sizes too? I'm just saying they'll have to be very careful how they handle it. So far they've done well with the other ones, but this one is just a bit beyond that.

It's directed by Edgar Wright, that's enough for me to instill confidence in the movie. Have you seen the Ant-Man test footage that was shown at Comic-Con?

Well, they seem to want to do that now so hopefully his part will be better. Renner has grown quite a fan base now and I'm sure they want to tap that as well.

I don't know much about Quicksilver since I'm not a comic person. I'll have to check him out.

Check the above link for the full footage. Some of the youtube ones are pretty low quality which were taken from the same footage. Watch it in full screen from the player.

But here is part of the footage released officially when they were showcasing the future of Marvel movies.

I just watched it. It's directed by someone who does comedies so will this be a comedy as well? Seems that on some of the youtube vids I've watched that they're saying it is.

Shaun of the Dead was a comedy, but also a good zombie movie. Hot Fuzz had some great action and so did Scott Pilgrim. If anybody has seen any of his films (and TV series Spaced), they will realize it won't be purely comedy.

A silly guy from a magic land with a rainbow bridge who throws a hammer that comes back to him and a spangly hero who believes in antiquated values and runs around with a silly shield as his only weapon and has wings on his mask are no less silly. Patience. So long as Renner stops acting like a selfricheous *********, he'll get his Hawkeye and Black Widow movie eventually. But if he keeps up his tantrums, Feige, who's willing to recast Stark, will have no problems sending Renner on his way to obscurity where he can try to unsuccessfully reboot more franchises whose star power is leaving... Diehard reboot anybody? :lol

Wow, I bet BAMF-ing between sizes like that would give you one hell of a headache. That can't possibly be comfortable.

I look at Ultron, and as I have always done I se only one thing: a Halloween Jack O' Lantern. Forgive me, I know it is wrong to even think it but he looks like

Ultron has got to be a huge Doctor Who fan. Probably DVRs that stuff as they're filming it.

Add Hulk and yes they definately should. Widow is eye...err boob candy. Antman has a thousand times more of a right to be in the next Avengers than Hawkeye. Quicksilver is just a stupid addition in every imaginable way since he can't be related to Magneto. Four main characters plus Fury running the show and a central villain and background villain is plenty. Everything else is X3 overpacked fan service.

Hawkeye has no movie of his own or background, he doesn't have any open character threads or connections to on going or upcoming events.

We're not waiting to see if he rebuilds his suits, can cope with this century, this dimension and humans etc. He's not somehow connected to Loki anymore or anything that's forseeably going to matter. Maybe he had a relationship once with Widow but so what? She's flirted/aluded to as much interest in Stark, Rogers, and even got a little flirty with Banner.

Theres literally no connections there that would even make you question his absence anymore than where was War Machine during the NYC attack.

:exactly:

**** Hawkeye

Kill him off in the first 10 minutes of Avengers 2. :lol

I'm re-reading the Infinity Gauntlet graphic novel atm after a long time and it really feels to me like the MCU is setting a version of this story up perfectly, after Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers 2 i think we're gonna see the story start to build with Thanos gaining the Infinity Gauntlet and the phase 3 films setting up an army of heroes to face him, especially with the Dr. Strange film coming and the introduction of cosmic heroes in GOTG. Obviously some key characters will be missing like Silver Surfer, Dr. Doom and maybe others depending what license their under but i really feel & hope that this is what their building up to.

If not i'm still happy that of all the villains they could choose from your the 3 Avengers films i happened to get my favorite 3, could of got my top 4 if MCU had Dr. Doom

devincf: Marvel ends with AGE OF ULTRON video from Comic Con. Ultron definitely is made from Iron Man armor in this video.

EricVespe: Marvel panel ended with Feige showing the Avengers: Age of Ultron teaser again. No new news... hrmm...
