They'll have to just make it Vibranium

Whedon and folks most likely won't bother messing with Adamantium. Realistically if they had to deal with multiple characters harnessing it fine but I'm sure they'll make Ultron out of Vibranium (most likely Stark ****ing around with it for a possible suit) and have one of those moments were Cap hit him with the shield and nothing really happen and then the close up of Evans' shocked face.

I do like this from Taylor-Johnson

“That’s what we’re in talks about really, right now – how I could become that character and not feel forced. I might not look right with white hair, and the accent may be wrong… it just doesn’t work like that… It’s about – unless you’re Jim Carrey or Nic Cage and go ‘This is the character’, people go ‘OK, OK…’ When people haven’t been shown your range like that, then they’re a bit more skeptical – they may not want you to push the boundaries in that way. But that’s what I’m interested in as an actor…”

The kid is wanting to bring quality to the role and that's going to be worth it's weight in gold. I hate the whole "Well I'm x and so the character will be this way" attitudes.

Cool! And as an added bonus I'll be able to get an Avengers 2 Hawkeye from HT.

That's the only benefit I can see at this point. :lol

I like Renner, Hawkeye is a cool character too... but when he's up against Hulk, Cap, Thor, Iron Man and now Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, i'm not finding him too appealing.

Yea theres just no reason to care about his character at this point. And since we aren't getting any more Iron Man movies the only reason I care about more Avengers is for more Iron Man. Taking time away from that character to build up Hawkeye more sucks imo.

I'd rather Iron Man was more in the background this time. As much as I like the character, this is an Avengers movie, let some of the others shine a bit that don't have their own movies.

Well that's kinda my point, Iron Man doesn't have his own movies anymore. :lol Hawkeyes already a forgettable throw away character. He could not be in this one at all and they wouldn't miss a step or even have to explain his absence.

Plus combine what they are paying RDJ with the fact that he likely creates Ultron in some way or another and I'm pretty sure Marvel will want to get their money's worth out of him.

Maybe they should just have the Avengers be Thor, Cap and Iron Man and forget about the others. :dunno

Add Hulk and yes they definately should. Widow is eye...err boob candy. Antman has a thousand times more of a right to be in the next Avengers than Hawkeye. Quicksilver is just a stupid addition in every imaginable way since he can't be related to Magneto. Four main characters plus Fury running the show and a central villain and background villain is plenty. Everything else is X3 overpacked fan service.

Hawkeye has no movie of his own or background, he doesn't have any open character threads or connections to on going or upcoming events.

We're not waiting to see if he rebuilds his suits, can cope with this century, this dimension and humans etc. He's not somehow connected to Loki anymore or anything that's forseeably going to matter. Maybe he had a relationship once with Widow but so what? She's flirted/aluded to as much interest in Stark, Rogers, and even got a little flirty with Banner.

Theres literally no connections there that would even make you question his absence anymore than where was War Machine during the NYC attack.

Well, that's your opinion and me and others have different ones. We take what we get. I like different characters. The main "four" have their own movies. It's nice to see other Marvel characters too.

As for Antman, I'm still not sure how they're going to do that movie without making it look like a bad 50's movie. We'll see.
