I definitely missed that butI do recall seeing a character lying lifeless with the other Avengers that i didn't recognize. Might have been female
I'll have to look closer during my third viewing as well.
What's the time-release on the moratorium for discussing the movie openly without using the spoiler tags? Give people a week or just the opening weekend? This is after all a movie thread so I think after weekend it's fair to expect that if you open this thread and haven't seen the movie yet, you are going to run into spoilers.
Whoops Ha I was busy trying to avoid spoilers then
Hahaha
Oh jeeze... Let's hope Thanos' defeat is more honorable. Now that Disney has the rights to Star Wars, I fully intend to see Thanos follow the same path as all the other weak Marvel Movie Villains and fall into the Sarlacc and die with a burp joke.
Personally didn't mind Ultron's defeat. I mean, it took...Oh jeeze... Let's hope Thanos' defeat is more honorable.
Yeah I'm not really on board with this "Ultron wasn't really dangerous" or didn't push the Avengers.
He lifted a damn city into the sky and turned it into a crashing meteor. That's pretty epic and it took a full team effort to take him down. It was just as tough if not tougher than taking down the chitauri army was. The only time Loki really had a one up on the Avengers was during the helicarrier scene and even then, what he actually accomplished was galvanizing the Avengers to actually BECOME the Avengers in the first place.
EDIT: I just realized I was kind of responding to an argument I was having in a different thread lol.
Well what will be interesting with Thanos is that in the comics no one can really defeat him. Thanos' hallmark is that he unknowingly self sabotages. It's
Part of what makes him so compelling. A friend and were discussing his actions and blunders so far and thought they may be working that in already.

I agree.
I want to see the Avengers Vs HIM this time, no more armies and then the villain is defeated. It worked with Ultron and Loki, but I still think Ultron should of had a fight scene where all the Avengers are attacking him at once and he's swatting them away, until they find his weakness.
Thanos doesn't need an army, so they have to do all the Avengers/heroes Vs him and him alone imo. It should be a hopeless battle and the heroes should know it but keep fighting, until Thanos ultimately "defeats" himself.
