Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

A local movie theater trying to cash in on AEG hype, lol.

I read that the Schwama scene at the end of A1 was an actual shop in NY. I wonder if they are banking on from the MCU :lol

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I have to take a poll

Now that's it said and done, what was everyone’s favorite RDJ IM suit

Mine has to be a toss up between IW and the A1 ( First Avengers) battle of NY suit , sorry I can’t keep track of all the MK names . something about that A1 was just so cool and unique

When it comes to Iron Man the slicker the better so I prefer his extremis IW/EG armor but when it comes to WM the opposite applies for me the beefier the better so I actually still prefer his IM2 armor over all others.

Do you have a link? I'm only seeing a comic based Koto Cap statue up for preorder (which itself looks freaking spectacular.)

I was referring to the HT Cap :lol

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Yeah Paul Rudd has been a real gem in the cast as well.

"You guys didn't know they were HYDRA? They even look like bad guys," lol.

:lol

Oh yeah that was good. Loved that whole New York sequence - if we've ever wondered what happens right after the final hero shot....

Can’t argue with that. Love the IM2 WM design even with the crappy Hammertech weapons :lol

Iron Patriot was horrible

I guess the first MK 1 was pretty cool because of the flame throwers

Am I the only one that liked the Iron Monger from the first film

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Nothing against him personally he just made one of the most boneheaded power plays in the history of cinema, lol.

That said I like Cheadle more than him anyway. Cheadle's hollow satisfaction after telling the tank story the second time in AOU is literally the funniest moment in the entire MCU for me, lol.

That Rhodey AOU scene remains my favorite joke with Thor’s concerned look to Rogers when he almost picks up the hammer as my 2nd favorite.

Will you look at that JAWS, AOU being good lol

Who’d thought that moment with their little game would be a game changer in EG and showcasing the true power of Cap

I mean, not even the Hulk was successful picking up the hammer :horror

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

When Cap used the hammer in EG, the entire theater erupted in cheers. It's a great moment and a good reference to the previous movies. However, I do think that Vision lifting the hammer in AOU kind of took a bit from Cap doing it. I wish Vision had never lifted the hammer, especially considering how he didn't do much in the final two films. Vision got it worse than Hulk.

Interesting, boy did Vision get kicked to the curb for EG

I hope to god they don’t leave Thor looking like this in the next film :thud:

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Also Tony's A1 line "if we can't save the world then you can be damn sure we'll avenge it" plays great in light of IW/AEG.

There’s so much significance in each film , especially with Tony’s words that tie so beautifully with the outcome of EG , it’s just crazy.

Maybe the Russo’s should direct a SW film...nah

How much will JAWS be able to take lol

At first the fact that Vision had done it before didn’t bother me but as the days have passed I think you may be right. :gah:

I hate you lol

Khev help :lol

Sure that's an easy one did you spend one millisecond thinking about the Vision when you saw the Hammer ricochet off Thanos' head and return to Cap's hand? I know I didn't the entire theater was practically on their feet cheering while I sat there trying not to tear up too much while Cap continued to duke it out with Thanos, lol. No amount of retrospect will ever take that moment away and I'll always be reminded of that every time I watch it going forward.

Plus Vision lifted it as a quick gag to establish that he could be trusted but Cap *called the freaking lightning.* :thud:

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Hey maybe Shuri saved enough of Vision from IW that they can create a new one?

Actually I’m happy you brought that up it was in my original response to Clown but then I deleted it which was that when it happened I was so pumped as was the audience that you’re right I didn’t even think about that, dude the entire auditorium was screaming :yess:

Vision is just stupid AI albeit horny AI lol

Go away Clown lol

Yep Vision is just like putting the hammer in an elevator "and the elevator's not worthy" lol. And lol at "go away Clown." :lol

I think Clown's on board with AEG though. ;)

You want to know something crazy that shows how invested I was in the freaking story, when 2023 Cap fought 2012 Cap I actually chuckled thinking ha even Evans doesn't want to put that dumb cowl on again totally ignoring the fact that Evans was also playing the cowl wearing 2012 version, duh! :slap :lol

I literally was just watching it as if he really was back in the past somehow facing some old duplicate of himself and not him just playing both roles in the same movie, lol.

Yeah that is weird right I actually looked at the other Cap as if he really was the A1 version I was even looking to see if he had a dorky chin lol

No you know why I really thought that it was because 12 was still the coming into his own straight arrow serious version while the 23 version was definitely more loose with his emotions.

Good stuff for Evans to play with
