Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

First deleted scene confirmed!

Stark after death sees his daughter now as an adult and she forgives him for leaving her.

Test audiencez said remove it too confusing.

Ill be content if they mention anything about house party protocol armors

Ok I figured out the real reason Russo's did not give the hulk a time to shine..

So just about everyone agrees that after Infinity War Hulk was going to get some kind of Payback on Thanos..

Pretty much anyone I talk to in my personal life and most on the board say they were shocked that this didnt happen and wish there was something.

So imagine if you will.. Thanos gets done smacking CM and he turns his attention to Tony when suddenly he gets a big green Paw on his shoulder that turns him around and Boom... Thanos goes flying.. Hits the ground gets ready to snap only IM pulls his switcheroo move...

Or something like that.. Fill in your own idea "Hulk gets some payback moment"

I guarantee that would have gotten the biggest cheer from the crowed. No question in my mind. People had been waiting over a year for it..

Well Cant have Hulk get the biggest cheer over Cap. Russo's would not stand for it :lol

I'm telling you.. People would cheer louder then even Cap getting the Hammer..

Everyone wanted Hulk to get payback.. But cant have that happen..

SO Hulk gets sidelined..

We all know this is true. :)

I am not even saying it would deserve to get the loudest cheer.. "Avengers Assemble" deserves it.. Hell I even think Cap getting the Hammer is more cheer worthy.... But People love payback and they do love Avengers style hulk.

Hell when the Avengers 1 Hulk showed up in the time travel scene people cheered in my theater.

Anyways..

I would appreciate if everyone would agree with me.. It will make me feel better. :lol

Ah interesting I see that they were going to give Tony a parallel moment to Thanos snapping people out of existence and then seeing young Gamora but they felt that it worked for Gamora because they had established her younger self previously in the movie. A random teenage girl that nobody recognized probably would indeed have been too confusing for what should have been a poignant send-off.

After publicly announcing that The Old Man & The Gun would be his final film Robert Redford quietly told the Russos that he'd come back one last time for Endgame. :rock

Avengers Endgame or It's An Avengers Clip Show! Finally saw this last night and was disappointed overall. Tonally it was all over the place, some great acting and scenes to be sure, but an unsatisfactory conclusion to the awesome Infinity War.

We both desperately wanted Hulk revenge smash porn.

You know what I realized though.

His round 2 against Thanos wouldn’t have worked because he would’ve had to lose against Thanos AGAIN because the narrative required Stark to defeat Thanos not Hulk.

Would’ve you accepted Hulk having a “cool moment” but ultimately having to lose again to Thanos?

C’mon be honest lol

If anything Hulk losing again might of been very disappointing for the audience having to witness again, another embarrassing downer and probably more disrespectful to the character than how he was handled in EG.

Yup that was the reason given for it being removed and I think it would’ve been too similar to Lang’s daughter arc as well.

It would’ve been an interesting mirror to the Thanos/Gamora scene because Thanos alive / Gamora dead and Stark dead / Daughter alive but I can see how that could get confusing real fast lol

Well there were ways around it like the one I posted above.... He could have started in on Thanos and then have others assist... if Cap and IM can handle their own against Thanos I am sure they could have come up with a way for Hulk to get some licks in .

Or just let him fight the big henchman and some of the other larger creatures....

My original point being they didn’t want hulk stealing the show.

I knew there would never be a Hulk vs Thanos rematch, but I wanted to at least see Hulk vs Cull Obsidian. Give BannerHulk that moment of impotence back!
