I can't process all this Khev stuff in work

My personal theory, the Avengers did not think there was another branch in 2012 because to them, the Tesseract never left 2012. Loki ran away with the Tesseract, but he is still in that 2012.

Oh....now that might be important. For some reason I was thinking of Loki disappearing from that timeline but you're right, he merely fled with the Tesseract to a different location, not a different time....hmmm..

Great points guys. EG only shows Loki using the tesseract to create the same blue cloud portal that Thanos would use to skip from one planet to the next. To create an alternate timeline Loki would have actually needed to take it into the Quantum realm which might be a stretch (though it's a stretch that apparently Disney+ is going to run with.)

By EG's rules then when Cap returned the time stone to 2012 that in and of itself would have erased the alternate 2012 and both Loki and the tesseract would have been restored to their former places in history. Probably the most likely scenario but we still don't know exactly what Loki did after disappearing. Maybe he teleported back to Asgard (or wherever) where he eventually put two and two together that there were two Starks in the lobby and that one of them must have come from a parallel universe and that his best option would be to explore other universes as well.

The fact that old Cap did have a fully restored shield does suggest that it came from an alternate timeline (assumedly as a result of Loki escaping) however.

I'm picking up the 4K Steelbook at Best Buy, which is what I do with all of the MCU.

I know so much about box office but I have no clue about bluray sales record breakers.

I have my doubts about Eternals, but I also had that same doubt when GotG was first announced... I mean c'mon... A group with a Racoon and a Tree... How could you take that seriously and how can that be possibly good?
