Yeah, I read that quote. I'm not sure that adds up, but without any time travel considerations, he would be around that age (linearly) at the end of Endgame (2023), seeing that he was born in 1918.
But, if you consider he was nearly 27 when he was frozen (1945) and thawed out 66 years later (2011), he would've aged an additional 12 years from his thawing to the time of Endgame. So, if he was physically 38 or 39 and then supposedly 106 when he returned to the main timeline, that means he went back to Peggy around 1955/56. I'm not sure that ties together when you look at it that way.
Regardless of all of that, I'd think the super soldier serum would slow his aging.

Given that Steve is canonically 37 in Endgame (post five-year time jump), that must mean he reunited with Peggy in 1947. They then spent 69 happy years together before she died in 2016, as documented in Captain America: Civil War. This would make him 106 in 2016 which must mean that, following his wife’s death, he then hopped back over to the main timeline, advancing a few years in the process to meet with Sam and Bucky by the lake in 2023.
