:lol

What's with Hot Toys and these 'recoiling' necks? DX10 has it and it looks like Professor Hulk has it. The neck is so straight up and erect and it makes it look like the figure is pulling its head back like something suddenly came too close to its face.

First Scorsese took a shot at Marvel by calling them "theme park rides", then Ford Coppola called them "despicable."

And now, Orson Wells is also taking shots!! :panic:

"No, it's the children who are wrong."

The reanimated ghost of cinema legend Orson Welles has risen from his grave to decry the success of Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe.

[Marvel is] "Total garbage, claimed Welles, who died of a heart attack in 1985. Lots of computer effects and flying stuff. NO THANK YOU."
Welles's statements echo those of fellow filmmakers Martin Scorsese and Francis Ford Coppola.

Welles is widely regarded as one of the most influential creatives of all time, and is especially remembered for his work on such projects as Citizen Kane, The Third Man, and Transformers: The Movie.

Putting aside the confirmation of life after death and the existence of an afterlife in which sentience is retained and time flows as normal, this is a big blow for the Marvel Universe. A growing number of filmmakers are expressing disappointment with their production model.

Can?t a geek just enjoy watching something as simple as Captain America throwing his shield, kicking ass and yucking it up with his fellow teammates without some hypocritical elite ******* raining on their parade.

**** Coppola.

I have a friend my age who would absolutely agree with Scorsese and Coppola. He surprises me with the harshness of his views but not them, knowing the films they have made.

I've only seen GF3 and I still remember how cringe-inducingly awful it was. It's Batman and Robin levels bad. There's a reason people hate nepotism.

Lets see here who is currently doing way more keeping people employed in the film, marketing, distribution and theatrical industry Francis there or the MCU?

Jealous much.

He?s had his time in the spotlight these grand superhero stories had to wait for cgi to catch up before they got their own spotlight now it?s their time to shine.

I guess he doesn?t know how the brain works.

There?s room in there for both Federico Fellini and the Infinity Gauntlet saga.

Next he?s going to say The Empire Strikes Back is despicable.

They were silent on AOTC but ripped on EG? :lol

My sides my sides lol

I do wonder how Scorsese and Coppola feel about Spielberg's popcorn movies. Spielberg is their buddy after all.

That whole group of his Milius, Lucas, Friedkin, DePalma etc.

Like Scorsese the dude started with freaking B junk trader Roger Corman so give me a freaking break.

Milius is a god though lol
