It?s true though if you?re not a fan of Cap or IM then yes this finale will not be satisfying.

But who the heck isn?t a fan of either of the 2.

Had they botched not just Hulk but also IM AND Cap then this movie would?ve been a massive failure.

But they didn?t.

I think they gave Hawkeye too much screen time. And instead of Scarlet Witch having a brief fight with Thanos, I would've substituted her with Hulk, assuming they had to pick just one character to fight Thanos. The outcome of the encounter could have ended the same way, with Thanos getting pummeled and him asking Maw to shoot up the whole place.

What was the point of SW fighting that Thanos? He didn't even know her, but that Thanos probably knew Hulk from NY. Also, SW is getting her own show and will be in the Strange sequel, so she will get more moments to shine. Hulk on the other hand? Nothing that we know of, plus he was one of the original six, so he should have had that moment against Thanos, not SW.

Because Hulk is toxic make and SW is woman power.

duh lol

Well, I liked the Scarlett Witch bit and she did have reason for having her moment against Thanos.

Well, they all had a reason to have a moment with Thanos, because they all lost someone, but when you get owned the way Hulk did, and you're one of the biggest stars of the franchise, you need to redeem yourself.

Hulk getting a moment against Thanos was not about Hulk singlehandedly defeating Thanos, it was to show that he was still a force to be reckoned with and that he was no joke. We knew that SW could put up a fight against Thanos because she showed that in IW, and ultimately, what was the purpose of her scene in EG? What did it accomplish? Nothing. At least Hulk would've gotten his credibility back, as well as his status as the "strongest there is." He had the motivation too, losing Black Widow.

Sound argument.

But it doesn't play host to an Elizabeth Olsen cleavage shot *strokes chin with concern*

Au contraire! She served as the opening act that led to the entrance of the true, new "strongest there is": Captain Marvel!

I still think Thor is the most powerful of all. He singlehandedly beat a Thanos with a full gauntlet. Which by the way, I find it baffling how he somehow couldn't handle Thanos in EG. People used the out of shape excuse, but that doesn't make sense to me because Thor's power doesn't come from his muscles or how much he weighs. His power is divine, comes from his father and mother, so it matter not what he looks like. I thought that was another issue when watching the film recently.

Lack of confidence and guilt but also learning how to work as a team this time instead of rushing in to make another poor decision.

Well, not really. It's not like he went toe-to-toe with Thanos and triumphed. He was able to throw Stormbreaker and have it slice through whatever gauntlet beam Thanos sent at him and in the process embed SB in his chest. But he didn't finish the deal so he failed, and he still carried that failure into the EG battle against a decidedly more ruthless & likely stronger Thanos. Don't forget, IW Thanos was both weakened by the burden of wielding the gauntlet and inexperienced using it, and both likely factored into Thor getting as close to victory as he did.

But having said that, yes, I also still think he's the most powerful. :lol

I agree, Thor felt de-powered in EG compared to IW. My interpretation is that he had far more willpower in the former of the two films.

I think what it boils down to is the Russos did not want to take the chance of anything detracting from Cap and Iron Man taking on Thanos. And if anything could do that it'd be a fully armed and operational rage Hulk. So perhaps it's flattering to Hulk that they sidelined him, from a certain point of view....

...nah **** that. They perpetrated a crime.

Well, I friggin' love Captain Marvel! Though, I'm not overly fond of how she was written in EG but I'm not bothered with the amount of her screen time, it's ample; in my opinion she came off as a tad too snooty, but her EG scenes were filmed before her movie (I really liked her line, "There are other planets in the universe, and unfortunately they don't have you guys."). I do agree that I would've liked to see other characters go one-on-one with Thanos instead of her, like Hulk. One of the aspects I like is of course how powerful she is, physically and mentally as she's shown. She is incredibly powerful, but as far as the most powerful, there might possibly be other characters that can be introduced that rank up there along with her (I do rank Thor up there in terms of sheer power).

No you don?t love captain marvel. If you did you?d post pictures everyday on her thread expressing your love lol

Saw a vid of jackman wolverine coming out of the portals in the final battle . I know I want a fresh take on the xmen but if that were to happen I?d lose it.

The anticipation for the X-Men finally being brought to the mcu is killing me. Screw the eternals or whomever the hell those guys are.
