If it's so average, why do you keep rewatching it? Methinks thou doth protest too much. :lol

Probably because he wants to like it. I've had the same with Man of Steel and BvS. Not that it matters with those anymore as they went on to definitively screw things up with Justice League.

Exactly... I want to love this movie.. Hell I want to just like it.. But its so Meh to me.. A very frustrating experience. I keep thinking.. "This is the time I will like it" but it doesn't happen.

It?s true though if you?re not a fan of Cap or IM then yes this finale will not be satisfying.

But who the heck isn?t a fan of either of the 2.

Had they botched not just Hulk but also IM AND Cap then this movie would?ve been a massive failure.

But they didn?t.

Well my complaints still stand.. I also thought that other than IM getting to snap Thanos out of existence and deliver that final line, he did not get much too do either... And I don't want to hear about creating time travel and all that, as that was nothing all that exciting. Basically I got to watch him prove what had already been proven in all the other films. He was willing to die for the cause and came to terms with his father.

I love Cap in the other films... But the "cap" moments in this film now feel a bit cheesy to me.. Since it is obvious that the Russo's have a legitimate hard on for him. :lol Admittedly I think for me that comes from the lack of "great moments" for Hulk, Thor, and IM (other then the snap and that final line of course)

I think what it boils down to is the Russos did not want to take the chance of anything detracting from Cap and Iron Man taking on Thanos. And if anything could do that it'd be a fully armed and operational rage Hulk. So perhaps it's flattering to Hulk that they sidelined him, from a certain point of view....

Yeah thats the ticket.

...nah **** that. They perpetrated a crime.

:lol :lol :lol

What was the point of SW fighting that Thanos? He didn't even know her, but that Thanos probably knew Hulk from NY. Also, SW is getting her own show and will be in the Strange sequel, so she will get more moments to shine. Hulk on the other hand? Nothing that we know of, plus he was one of the original six, so he should have had that moment against Thanos, not SW.

Well, I liked the Scarlett Witch bit and she did have reason for having her moment against Thanos. But regarding Hulk, this was a downright painful discussion

I loved the Scarlet Witch part.. Even though it was proceeded by the corniest moment in all of Marvel.

Her moment was my fav part of the entire end fight.

As for the Hulk conversation... I remember really thinking that Hulk snapping was going to revert him back to classic Hulk.... But that would have taken away the Cap Porn from the Russo's

I think Tony had a lot of screen time and a substantial dramatic role in the film even if he didn't get a lot of action sequences as Iron Man. You have to remember that he had plenty of action sequences in Infinity War. I can't think of what else they could have done with Iron Man in an action sequence that I would have liked to have seen. His role in EG was perfectly executed, imo. If anything, I thought his voice over during his own funeral was overkill. :lol

I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I just saw End Game for the first time, last night. (Saw it via Disney+, which I picked up simply for "The Mandalorian".)

I'm still missing a couple of individual films, such as Ragnarok.

End Game was fun, emotional and a great way to possibly end the Avengers theme, at least for a while.

But I have to admit that the scenes with Captain Marvel were cringe worthy. Robotic acting and bad lines were pretty bad. And that "We are Woman" scene with the female heroes was jolting as well.

Aside from those instances, the film was great fun.

Tony's real conflict is that, while most people lost lives post Thanos' snap, he was the only one to gain a life (his daughter)

It's been shown that it was never a good time for Tony and Pepper to settle and start a family, but after the snap there was in fact world peace which allowed him to retire as Iron Man and have a child. His life actually improved post snap, he could be selfish and enjoy this, and will still be considered a hero who help killed Thanos, without building the time machine. It's the idea that Tony really has a lot to loose now, more then ever, and probably realize why he is even alive. If he is selfish he can just keep all of this for himself and live happily ever after as a hero with a perfect family, there's probably a version of that alternate reality somewhere.

Well, I friggin' love Captain Marvel! Though, I'm not overly fond of how she was written in EG but I'm not bothered with the amount of her screen time, it's ample; in my opinion she came off as a tad too snooty, but her EG scenes were filmed before her movie (I really liked her line, "There are other planets in the universe, and unfortunately they don't have you guys."). I do agree that I would've liked to see other characters go one-on-one with Thanos instead of her, like Hulk. One of the aspects I like is of course how powerful she is, physically and mentally as she's shown. She is incredibly powerful, but as far as the most powerful, there might possibly be other characters that can be introduced that rank up there along with her (I do rank Thor up there in terms of sheer power).

**** THE XENOS.

Do you think they'll make a movie about his many dalliances before he went back to Peggy?

:lol

Unlikely, but now that they've announced that Sharon Carter will be in The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, I'm hoping she (at the very least) gets to make a snarky comment about Cap's choosing her dead Great Aunt over her. Considering both title characters saw them kissing in CACW, it will seem weird if they don't address it in some way.

BTW, it looks like this show will only have 6 episodes in its first season. Hopefully they're slightly longer than Mando's sitcom length installments....

Due to updated numbers from China (an additional $3 million), Endgame has now passed $2.8 billion at the global box office. So, it "earned" more in China this weekend than TROS. :lol

I'm not certain about Thanos' full knowledge of the infinity stones, but when he acquired and used them for his plan, he did not think to use the time stone and look into the future and see he would ultimately lose, but then again Doctor Strange probably kew Thanos would not.
