Amazing a movie this big and all we got is a bare bones trailer.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

This isn’t a movie in a traditional sense, this film is like the series finale of a hit show and we’ve seen time and again how guarded those are and they don’t even have Disney level resources to maintain the secrecy.

Makes my life easier lol, it was so hard removing myself from all this with Infinity War to avoid spoilers.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Yeah i’m good I don’t need anymore trailers.

I mean seriously who’s going to say “If Disney doesn’t release a 4 minute long action packed trailer extravaganza i’m NOT going to go watch AEG!”

Will you still go matticus if that teaser remains the only trailer?

Of course you will!

I don’t need any more convincing I mean who doesn’t want to see the grand finale!

That teaser showed me everything I needed to know which is nothing!

They released a 2 hour trailer last April. What more do you want?

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Obviously they have some characters in the movie that’ll hype up the next phase. I’m definitely imagining galactus is in this in some compacity or the FF. All the fantastic 4 hype marvel has been putting out leads me to believe they’ll be in this

While that would be interesting, I doubt they could hide that for long.

Besides, Marvel is the studio that actually develops characters before throwing them into an ensemble superhero movie. He must be thinking of those other guys.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Okay I have to put this out there. I think it was discussed a while back but THE only thing I’m afraid of with this movie is the time travel. I hope that it’s done well but it’s usually VERY lazy writing and story telling. Same reason flashbacks, usually are too as stated by the creators of GOT.

But mainly I’m worried about all of the movies before this one and leading up to it, feeling empty and hollow due to much of the events and things never actually happening.

I should know better than to worry about the Russos, but man I keep seeing this going a really cheap route. I don’t want to be right but I hope it’s truly deeper than *going back in time, sacrifice, leftover avengers win*

Kevin Feige loves the Star Trek The Next Generation finale with Picard jumping through time featuring characters from the show's 7 year run. Bet this will be the same filled with characters since the MCU started.

I hate time travel resolutions, unless the film is about time travel.

Personally I feel like its a copout.

They will overcome that feeling by sacrificing major characters in a way that prevents their return.

1. Cap
2. Tony
3. Black Widow.

Cap and Tony will sacrifice themselves for the good of mankind and Tony for Pepper.

Widow will die for Hawkeyes family.

End credits.

Sorry, when you said you could see them being "in it" I thought you meant the movie proper, not a post credits tease and/or some clever Easter egg. Of the two you mentioned, I'd prefer Doom to Galactus. I could see non-comic readers thinking Galactus is too similar to Thanos as a villain (especially on the heels of IW & Endgame), plus the thought of an MCU version of Doom warms my heart. Now I'm going to be thinking about who they might cast for the role...
