Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Disney has that power to buy out all screens in a theater to make sure this movie makes its billions, that was the issue with the TDKR, although 2.5 hours still. This movie might not break records since it will be impossible to find day 1 seating due to the capacity of theaters we will see. IW might be the highest performer though, i can hold my piss but i drink too much beer at the theater lololol

The women always laugh in the lobby of the local 15/70 IMAX auditorium after opening day screenings of TFA/RO/TLJ/Solo/IW because for once the women's bathroom is empty but there's a huge line going out the guys' bathroom due to not one single dude daring to get up during their first viewing of any of those films, lol.

Yeah LOTR EE was brutal. Luckily for those they'd already come out on DVD so we knew all the slow spots that we could miss, lol.

I got up twice during Aquaman despite not knowing if I'd miss something good, lol.

I feel bad for those that held their pee during Aquaman waiting to see all of the DCEU connections. :lol

I kid you not opening weekend for TFA a guy ran out to use the restroom toward the end and came back right after Han fell off the bridge and disappeared. That must have made one hell of a "what'd I miss" moment with his wife, lol.

This is the very reason I often don't drink anything when I'm at the movies. No way I'm going to miss anything due to a suspect bladder.

For one of my theatrical viewings of Infinity War, I went with a buddy who likes the genre enough, but definitely isn't a die-hard. He comes walking in the theater with a giant drink. All I could think to myself was "you poor, ****ed soul" .....

Imagine walking out of AEG opening night to take a phone call from the babysitter thinking it has to be an emergency only to find out she butt dialed you and when you walk back in you missed Cap’s death, oomph! :lol

Yeah I go one step further and don't have any liquids with my meal prior to even going to the movie if it's one I know I won't want to miss a single second of, lol.

Or back in 2016: "Well the Death Star plans got sent and the heroes are dead, guess I can duck out for a minute as the film winds down with that Imperial Shuttle flying across the screen," lol.

I can't not have a large coke in the cinema. Most often I just tolerate the bladder filling up and I tend to get away with it. I can't remember the last time I just had to go during a film.

As that person is walking out to their car they’re thinking to themselves “Man that movie was awesome there is no way they could’ve made that better” :lol

Smart move you wouldn’t want anyone snatching up your premium front row far left corner seat. :lol

:lol I save all these little a-dev-specific Jye in-jokes.

:lol :lol

a-dev watching Jurassic World in the front row as the couple behind him gets engaged, lol.

For a week afterward I walked the streets of the more romantic areas of Dublin...armed with a Cosh..just hoping some newly engaged couple would pour another beer over me - so I could kill them. I'm ashamed to say that. It was awful. But I did learn a lesson from it when I eventually thought ''what the **** are you doing?''
