Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Well, Tony's also walking around with a power source on his chest, so maybe between the two they rig something to either power the ship or extend life support long enough to be rescued.

That's what I was thinking. Fun to speculate. Like maybe Nebula would really want to take off after Thanos - maybe she isn't affected by lack of oxygen that much - and Tony IS a complete stranger to her at least at first.

But for whatever reason she decides to help Tony get home if they are "billions of miles from earth".

Did like seeing Tony and Nebula working together - IMO good pairing and potentially *explosive* if Tony is in position to upgrade her on Earth. Maybe it's a nod to a comic thing where Tony offers to help her if they can get to his workshop (also Banner would be there, maybe, knowing bio-mechanics "better than anyone"). So that Nebula can take revenge like the comics.

Also wonder if Tony meeting Nebula will get Tony re-thinking Bucky/torture/Cap etc. while he is stuck in space.

Oooh, that's a good one - the parallel between Thanos's torturing/using Nebula and the Russians/Hydra doing the same to Bucky. It would be interesting to see them work that angle a bit.

Can't wait for you guys to see what Marvel's cooking with this. :) SOON

To me it'd be *logical* re an arc. Tony still cares about Cap (never gave Cap up, prototype shield etc.) Called Bucky "Manchurian candidate" e.g he KNOWS Bucky was brainwashed.

But killing your parents is a huge thing:(. Tony was tortured too, but he could've offed himself, at worst. Don't think Bucky was given that option, or Nebula. Until for Bucky it was too late to think that way, and same for Nebula (in a way) - Thanos had already taken too much.:(

I just can't think Tony would see another being with metal arms etc. and not make a connection. Only beings on Titan, they have to talk to each other?

Terrifying if u are a collector tho, maybe (no pun intended). $$$$:horror:cool:

Spoken like someone with the inside scoop. Yes?

I agree it's logical, plus it wouldn't require any extra screen time to accomplish - they could have a conversation while working together. Given everything else that needs to happen in this film, that may be what keeps it from hitting the cutting room floor (if it's actually in the script).

Ehollywood is kinda famous on Instagram. His paintings are very cool and get a lot of attention so he may know stuff. Who knows. I’m still thinking we are seeing fox characters. The secrecy is out of control.

Yeah I can see that. Waz even thinking both Bucky and Nebula were forced to fight and take whatever beatings.

But true, may not be in script. Plus trailers may have scenes not in movies.:dunno

Also wonder if Banner could re-activate Extremis in Pepper, if Ravagers will show up, and if Loki (I think he's alive) would rally the Frost Giants against Thanos - lots of possibilities! :google

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

You know how the post snap decimation was shown in the trailer i’m wondering if IW should’ve shown glimpses of those NYC scenes before ending with Thanos on his farm.

I don’t know if it was the right decision waiting to show that in AEG.

IW only focussed on the heroes going ashes to ashes dust to dust and maybe they could’ve shown the world at large.

I don’t know I be wrong and it will have greater impact with how they’re proceeding.

I think the post credit scene with Fury and Hill did a good job of conveying that.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Yeah that totally did NOT work lol

Especially the Ant Man part.

Individually on their own though still two great trailers I prefer them over the IW trailers.

I think enough weight was felt with what had just happened at the end of IW that showing such scenes in that film would have less impact than they will in AEG. It seems like this footage is going to be used to start AEG to really make you feel how broken the Avengers are by the time we see them again, how crippled the world is, etc.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Folk over at Polygon seem to think Captain Marvel was edited out of a few scenes in the trailer.
The gap between Banner and Rhodes seems to be a little wide.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I just don’t see how it could be any less than 3 with all the characters that need to be given their proper attention and send offs.

IX will need to be 4 1/2 hours just to address 3 characters. :lol

Plus there's all of the time travel that, if fan speculation and the leaked set photos are anything to go by, will definitely need an extended running time to play out properly.

I can totally respect non OT era individuals like yourself or Clown from not caring about SW.

But you have to understand OT SW is part of my DNA so to just abandon movies that the OT characters are in is just not happening lol.

So by all means give me a 4 1/2 SW movie that has Luke, Han, Leia and Lando in i’ll take it.

Then in authentic SW fashion i’ll complain about it afterwards. :lol

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Endgame has now gone through four separate test screenings, and so far, it's holding onto its three-hour runtime:

AVENGERS: ENDGAME Will Likely Stick With 3-Hour Runtime After Highly Positive Test-Screening Reactions

I like long movies, usually. I mean, I usually go to movies I'm gonna like or know something about, so why wouldn't I want to get my money's worth for a great theater experience? At home I can't match the biggest IMAX screens and state of the art sound systems that some theaters have.

Theater owners like to overturn audiences to sell more overpriced snacks, but at least End Game will have huge attendance.
