Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I'm almost inclined to say that's fake because if you look closely, it appears that Widow has two hair colors going on.

She does. Some time has passed, and she no longer dyes it blonde.

They're definitely going for the "Professor Hulk" vibe in this one. He looks more like Banner (and even seems a bit smaller). He'll combine Hulk's strength with Banner's intelligence. Sounds pretty formidable to me.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

By the way, Widow's new outfit looks a lot like Wasp's (just different colors). The pattern on the torso is almost identical.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

What if these are alternate dimension versions of themselves? If the accords are still in play, in some kind of fashion (though doubtful after the snap) then I can't see Cap suddenly changing his mind and re-joining the avengers.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I think that picture looks really fake.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Oh... Even though I understand about the Professor Hulk concept, I think Hulk is too small and looks too much like Banner now..

Yeah. Now I'm gonna go kick myself for not picking up HT Avengers or Ultron Hulk for the shelf when they were discounted.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I have bought at least one Hulk figure for every MCU film, but if the only offerings are jumpsuit Hulk, I’ll probably pass unless he does something more spectacular than anything from any previous film that makes me want a figure to be reminded of that moment.

New looks at everyone's costumes.

U could have maybe, if I hadn't just blown $$$ on the IM Mark VI re-release (cheap-er) out of Popcultcha. Way late to the Avengers party:slap decided I needed more IM representation, and most IM out of reach. Plus I like the beefy armors.

Just hope I don't open the box and get confronted w. pink panties.

(Diecast IM may be the HT Ferraris but I can only do economy, most of the time).

I honestly gave up on IM Diecast, all i have is MK. 3, MK 42, Iron patriot and War machine 2.0 honestly i am trying to get rid of my marvel hot toys collection, i mostly got the of avengers and a few im 3 but I honestly prefer onesies and two sies characters and DC, Marvel is overkill and getting an entire cast for each movie is more than my mortgage at this point. As much as Thanos actually has stone functionality per attack, it’s an easy pass for me, TBH

Can't comment 'coz don't have enough IM *argh*. But haven't been collecting all THAT long - and TBH some earlier releases not sorry I missed. I mean sculpts *usually* got better I guess. But then a good argument can be made for having stuff just because it was released at that time.

(Only diecast IM I have is the Mark 46 and gotta say luv that thing. The gleaming paint, details - no plans to sell except emergency. Luv my dollies.)

My indulgence last year was NIB Ultron Cap at a "bearable" price:horror. Lookin' online about pass out at the markups:medic. Re your comment, think you gotta care about what you have. If u don't, sell off etc.

Unfortunately or fortunately, think I'll take it slow re End Game figs. Depending. There's an interesting group of characters missing in action - and three of those are among my favs (Bucky, Falcon, SW). So far, *sigh* I'd probably get Cap (a fav) but IMO the uniform seems a bit tame - first look:dunno. That Hulk - comic or not - er:google...probably would pick up Antman and IM. Black Widow. Others like BP - depending on look. Hawkeye (tho in the art don't think the hair is doing Renner any favors). Maybe Nebula.

No plans to get a 1/6 Thanos as my idea was to use a massive gauntlet to suggest *ominousness* on the shelf. Not scale accuracy or scene re-creation. Plus in theory could light easier for effect. More like a comic art look.

But who knows - Thanos may have such amazing armor or whatever I decide I need him.:dunno

Meanwhile, interesting comment IMO (for fun):
https://www.cbr.com/mcu-secret-invasion-bad-idea-good-idea/
Considering Secret Invasion's status as one of Marvel Comics' most landscape changing events to date, it's understandable why fans believe we'll eventually see a version of it in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, albeit with a few tweaks. The event completely changed the status quo of the Marvel Comics universe, and there's no doubt it could do the same for the MCU.

Changing things up so drastically in the wake of Thanos' threat, however, may prove harmful to the established MCU. The Mad Titan shook things up in a major way when he dusted half of the universe in Infinity War, after all, so is it really a good idea to throw the heroes directly back into disarray, so soon after they (presumably) put things right in Avengers: Endgame?
:panic::lol
