That all depends on where you're buying your Digital Movies. Apple, Amazon, and Google aren't going anywhere.

Yes but the point we are trying to make is that your copies can go somewhere. Your computers can crash therefore making you unable to retrieve them after putting them on 3 devices. The app you use can become outdated and may no longer provide streaming services. And your library no matter what company you use does not allow you to transfer those purchases to anyone else.

So no the company isn’t going anywhere and they still make their money but you could be out one if not several digital downloads. This happened to Bruce Willis. He tried to will his library to his daughter and found out some interesting facts about iTunes. One of which is if you purchase you don’t own it. It has happened.

I sold my VHS stash (except the rare ones) when Blu-ray became the THING and now have slowed down on buying Blu-rays. It has freed up a ton of room for statues, figures and such. I've become very picky in my purchases now due to streaming. I'll only make an exception with 3D and 4k physical copies. I have both 4K and 3D TVs. If it's regular format, it's being bought Digital.

First world problems.

Anyone else remember those one-time-use Dvd's they tried promoting for a hot second in the early 2000s? Basically once you open the $5 DVD you had 3 days to watch it before it expired. Unsurprisingly the public caught on, called BS, and they never took off.

you see!!!!
thats what they want to do with Digital as well.

Besides digital codes today ALSO have an expiration date and if you dont redeem them they expire. but even if you redeem them you are at the mercy of the website hosting it. they can cancel your account or erase your movies at any time if they see fit

Yes I remember those. Circuit city carried them. I think it was the divx line. You could rerent them so to speak or buy them but it cost more than just buying dvd's outright.

"Dude!!! Watch his paws! On Rocket’s home planet a “selfie” means something completely different," Pratt wrote.

So, read on the internet that there will be an extended cut for Infinity War on DVD/Blu-ray. Jim Starlin (creator of Thanos) was quoted as saying there will be an additional 30 minutes of Thanos' origin/backstory added back into the movie that was edited out of the original release. None of this has been confirmed by Disney so take this news with a grain of salt. I hope it's true. You can't have enough Thanos as far as I'm concerned.

Hopefully it’s included in the steelbook
