Even with the high ES, I still like this piece. Think I'm going to keep.

But SS really needs to go back to the more limited ES's (i.e. 250-750)

Kinda funny that people are talking about the ES being so high. SIM was the exact same. Granted, it had lights, but low ESs have likely gone the way of the dinosaur.

I cancelled mine awhile ago and ordered from Alter-Ego. I love this piece and would have bought it even if the ES was high, but no way I am paying Sideshow prices for it.

If sideshow required a deposit to pre order we would be seeing much smaller edition sizes..

Nahh, it's the flippers who only order to sell at a profit. When they see the ES go too high, they cancel because there is no profit margin, and had no intention of keeping any to begin with. If everyone who ordered one of these wanted it because they wanted to keep it instead of speculating on it, there would be a LOT fewer cancellations. In addition, a lot of people preorder because they are afraid that if they dont get an order in, the flippers will price them so high that they will be too un affordable later. Without speculation/flipper type orders, then there would only be enough orders take and fulfilled to satisfy actual demand.

Do you have a reason why it is not the flippers that cause this? To me superheroes are about doing the right thing, ie about heroism, which is to put others first, except with super powers in the service of that, hence SUPER-HEROES. To me financially taking advantage of people who like superheroes is almost like financially taking advantage of Buddhist monks, or a noble charity.
