man it's been a week, and this hasn't sold out yet, not much love for this one??.

I think it just has an enormous edition size; notice the 2 per order.

This is cooler than Iron Man Spidey... more of a fan of this Spidey.

Enough to buy... meh... maybe if it was the red and blue version.

As an outfit I don't care for the Scarlet Spidey too much, but for the story line I think its really great. And I agree with LOTRfan the exclusive is about the only reason I would get the statue. If I had the money I probably would and put it between Cap and Iron Man.

Of course I think it'd be really awesome if someone did a custom of the CAP PF where instead of Ultron's head or the nazi helmet the did a custom of him standing on Iron Man's helmet and then have the Tony sculpt on the Iron Man comiquette.

Don't get me wrong, the base on the exclusive is the main reason why I am buying the Iron Spidey as part of my Avengers display. As someone mentioned, it will look good between Classic Iron Man and Cap PF so for the sake of the display I am keeping my order. Namor also falls into that category as I am feeling pretty 50/50 on the sculpt from what we have seen.

I personally don't like the Iron Spidey outfit that much. They can chrome it all they want and make it shiny red as a statue but the design seems wrong for the character. It's like you take away all the stealth and agility from the character with those spider-arms. The symbiote seems to fit Spidey more IMO.

I would put the Scarlet Spidey and the Ben Reilly Spidey outfit in front of the Iron Spidey any day of the week. As convoluted as the clone saga was, the designs were better and at least it was a meaningful event in the Spidey comics.

Maybe so....but i want a pf or comiquette of spidey in all his alternate costumes

i don't see the problem with paying for a repaint, which it is, but don't forget it's also got extras with doc ock, scorpion and goblin.

Quadcent brings up a good point that a lot of you seem to be overlooking. SSC didn't offer an EX on this, BUT it has a custom base just like the EX of Iron Spidey.

If it truly were just a "repaint", then you'd have Spidey in the black costume on top of the plain base like the regular Iron Spidey.

Honestly, this is a great deal if you ask me. It can be had cheap from resellers, and you're basically getting an EX for the cost of a regular, bucking the recent trend of SSC tacking on ~10% for the EX.
