Bad news in my family

I can remember some years ago when my Dad had a heart-attack and various illnesses.....As you grow older, it's hard to see your parents as mortal, somehow you just think they are invincible. My prayers are with you and your family.

my old man died 1 may 2006.as you say kaosinla i thought
he was invinsible.he wasn't just my dad,he was everything to me.he was my best friend.

Yesterday afternoon my dad was scheduled for an operation on his nasal cavity as he has been haveing trouble breathing and sleeping at night.He had a x-ray done that showed infection on the left side of his nasal cavity...well the operation was done yesterday and the doctor found a 2" by 3" tumor that had grown in his nasal cavity....as of right now they do not know if it is benign(none cancerous) or malignant(caner)....We a very worried in the family right now and I just wanted to let my fellow feaks,who seem like extened family, know whats up.I pray everything will turn out ok for my father....I cant really express how scared I am for him right now....It will be at least a week before we know if it is benign or malignant....if you find time please say a prayer for my dad.......

My thoughts amd prayers go out too. My Dad was diagnosed with C a year and a half ago and spent a year in chemo. He is now fully recovered and played golf for the first time a couple weeks ago. Hang in there kid!

Thanks p.....thats wonderful to your fathers ok now.....this is the scarest thing I have have ever had to go through, just not knowing is what really scares me, but you guys have told me many recovery stories and they mean a lot to me!!!

y'know....I'm not sure... I guess it's boredom or simply my posts for the custom work. But you are catching up rather quickly.. And who knows what will happen once I have to work again. You might just win after all.

Lolll....well heres a tip... Once,my post Nemesis was Mithrandier...we where neck to neck most of the time..But that a** started to post in the omg thread and in the sandbox.... I tried to do the same thing, but he finally beat me....Now he's like 500 post over me....ONE DAY YOU NO GOOD,IMPOSTEUR MITHRANDIER,ONE DAY I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE...MWHAHAHAHA...

Hey guys....Been gone a few days with my dad...Well the news isnt great but we are still holding on to hope.What the doctors are telling us is that the tumor that was removed has become malignant and is moving into his brain.Right now they say its inoprable and that they can only treat it with radiation.They dont think it can be removed totally by the radiation but they are hoping it will shrink it and he will be mostly ok.It has been a REALLY hard couple of days and I hate to be away because you guys really make me laugh and take my mind off of things.Thursday he was in emergency surgery to remove and absest(spelling) from his brain which they removed and he is doing really good right now.The doctors are saying just one day at a time now.

I cant really explain how I am feeling right now, but it helps to talk and get things off my mind!You guys here are really like family!

So now it seems like things are really bad, but I have to have hope that my dad is going to be ok.
