They both say the same exact thing: "The Joker". Heath's name is never mentioned!?

lmao.. ok if that's how you wanna rationalize it, fine. Whatever works for you. In reality though, the fact still remains: The V.1 Joker from Hot Toys WAS and still IS marketed as "THE DARK KNIGHT - JOKER".
What is "The Dark Knight"? Right. It's a movie.
Who plays the Joker in "The Dark Knight"? Right. Heath Ledger.
If HT simply put out a Joker figure with only the DC license (i.e. no movie license attached to it) then yes I'd agree with you. But that's not the case here. And it has nothing to do with likeness rights because HT obviously got it right the second time around with the BR Joker.
If you guys seriously feel the need to "defend" what you've purchased while turning a blind eye to the reality of the situation, that's fine. But those circumstances (obviously) hinder any type of real discussion, conversation. So that's where we're at.
