You totally contradicted yourself here, 1st tier or second is irrelevant.
So to be white is uninteresting while being a "minority" isnt?
Lets take the AA, Latin, Asian whatever fans/members here, they love the referenced established characters as they are... white. So why change? If they didnt like the characters as they were created, they wouldt be here, they wouldnt be fans.
What if I said, hmmm lets take Black Lightning and make him white, hes just boring as black, hed be more interesting as white and there'd be more contrast with his suit.... Ridiculous right?
Btw... BG is WELL established, since 1961.
Interesting conversation that has developed in here....not to stoke the fires more but
The first "Frontrunner" has hit the rumor mill
So Barbara could look like this:
Power Rangers and Rogue One were pitch perfect examples of how studios should aspire to represent a variety of cultures in genre films.

And that's why I don't read comics
This pleases me, I'd be fine with this . . .
Another good one would be Ana Celia de Armas Caso. She's gonna blow up and be everywhere after Blade Runner 2049 I bet.

No.For me, I think it's just a matter of diversity, and I'm not talking about diversity in the sense that "Batman is black," so, more representation, but, taking, for instance my idea, that wouldn't be a huge departure, since Martha Wayne has had an ambiguous backstory, anyway; in some instances being a Kane, in others being an Arkham; there's nothing that says that character couldn't be black and, thus, open doors for a half black Batman. Not only do you get a young, African American child seeing one of his favorite heroes represented on screen for the first time, but think of the opportunities it presents for young black actors, as well, and I feel like you could easily use the same scenario and have Martha, and, in turn, Bruce, be representative of any number of races or ethnicities. Imagine if, some day, a casting call for Batman was open to everyone, not just people who look like the character has, historically.
I'm not color blind, either, and I do get where people like you and DiFabio are coming from. Like it or not, for better or worse, history has engrained certain preconceptions about these characters into how we think of them, and race is one of them. I've just learned to stop taking **** so seriously; particularly when we've seen these characters reinvented in innumerable ways, why couldn't one of those reinventions be somewhat diverse?
This movie is gonna blow so hard.
This is at risk of being Rebirth Batgirl, which is ok, but crammed with feminist crap, terrible dialogue and terrible cinematography.
And most likely she's not gonna be a redhead.
No.
I'm ok with alternate earths though.
You're asking too much from him.
Oh I'll be damned.LOL, no, thats what JW stated was the source material.
Oh I'll be damned.
Hmmmmmmm... Should I or should I not give him the benefit of the doubt? I liked Avengers upon rewatch, but I hate almost everything else of him...
And he's a giant cuck... And I want a reboot....
Hmmmm...
