I hope so, but they look almost chrome/polished instead of the dull nickel look from the older pics.

I'm glad I am not the only one who thinks that.
This is exactly like the tumbler with its chrome rims problem. Why do hot toys do this?!

Because they're Hot Toys and they know that this would still sell, inaccuracies and all.



I guess we better wait for better and more final product pics and see.

The box photo gives the illusion that the front of the car is longer than on the actual car itself.

Well we will see. I am wondering how the cocoon armour will turn out to be, I am thinking HT's are going to do the cheap vacuum form plastic cover finish.

Is there a lead weight in the middle of this thing? That weight is outrageous! Not that I'm complaining. Weight usually = sturdy

Now to decide whether or not to bite the bullet. I don't think interest in this is high enough for it to sell out black Tumbler-style.

1989 Batmobile > Tumbler


The only deterent I would guess would be price. Other than that, I don't see how it wouldn't be a better seller or in more demand than the Tumbler. This is bigger and has way more features.

I just hope the armor shield isn't cheap injection molded tray plastic.

This thing will be gone before it hits the states me thinks. Just so much other stuff has came out, got lost in the shuffle. Once the pics start coming out it will dry up fast.

Little may stop this from going to $2,000 tumbler stupid territory next year with the 25th Anniversary and 1st edition release.

Better get it if you want it.
