Yeah, I was just thinking that.
What I they had the Batmobile displayed with new Batman Returns stuff.
That would be a step in the right direction.
Batmobile as the center piece, have 3 of them!
One with cockpit open and Batman inside of it.
Another with all the gadgets revealed spinning on a large spinner.
Another clean version with lights on with Batman standing next to it.
Then Batman Returns revealed, even a 1/4 Batman Returns Batman with 2 heads.
Then a 1/4 Catwoman and Penguin!
Then the 1/6 Returns stuff.
Winner Best in Show!
Like a Westminster dog.
Would sure be cool to receive the Batmobile after a presentation like that.
They would top this off if they had the 1966 batmobile with the adam west and robin from that era.
But since we haven't seen this with the lights on like the cinemateque version, would this have the inside of the batmobile have lights?
Man I cannot stress how much this would be my dream to have. Ever since batman returns came out on 1992 my mom took me to the toys r us store in New york city and bought the batmobile batmissile, which in my opinion was the best toy at the time. One gripe I had was that I played with it in my aunts apartment and lost the flick missiles before I left back to panama. Even then I had a blast with the folding batcave and the button that separated the sides to convert it to batmissile.
I also bought the 1:24 model kit, the die cast 1/64 car with the batman logo on top that I hated it, to getting the Hot Wheels 1:18 elite batmobile, and finally tracking down the almost impossible to get Hot WHeels 1:50 batmobile. Supposedly hot wheels is releasing this version again sometime this month but it has eluded all toy shops I have been too. With the 1989 batman and the upcoming batman returns batman it's my dream come true...
I always hated the clunky proportions on the Kenner Batmissle Batmobile, but I guess that's the compromise they had to make for it to be functional and simple enough for a toy for kids. That's quite a 1989 Batmobile collection you've got there....but no 1/10 RichMan's Toys RC? I never hunted down any of the recent Hot Wheels stuff besides the first edition of 1:18 that they released in 2003, which is still to this day the most accurate toy/model representation of the 89 Batmobile ever released. Let's hope Hot Toys steals the crown.
Freaking hell... 48 inches?
Why on earth did they make the alloys silver!!! Looks too much like a biger version of the hot wheels batmobile! It was much better with the dulled alloy colour of the prototype!!
Wait what?? 22 kg @_@
Could be just the light?
