So with that said, will you guys be joining me in pre ordering the 1/6 66 Batmobile?

I don't know if i should. I am a dead man walking once this bad boy arrives. Not sure how i could justify getting the 66mobile. But if the cost is decent I will be tempted. Very Tempted.

I thought about just having it held for pick up at the station like I do with most of my SS orders but I may go ahead and let my UPS guy bring this one to me.

Why take the chances? I would pick it up just to reduce risk.
I am picking up mine from my LCS and his UPS route/driver knows to handle his packages properly.

I thought about just having it held for pick up at the station like I do with most of my SS orders but I may go ahead and let my UPS guy bring this one to me.

How do you do that? Do you have to wait until they attempt delivery or can you tell them to hold it before they even make the first attempt. Is there a fee for holding it, like there is when you have a package re-routed to a different address? (Most likely yes)

I say you'll both be on the brink come the day of pre order i know its hard to justify buying a 1/6 Batmobile to our partners/wives but even she would find it hard to disagree that the 66 Batmobile is a thing of beauty and deserves to be parked up next to the 89 Batmobile!

No fees at all for holding. Just open a UPS My Choice account which is free:

You can then update your shipments to have them held before they attempt to deliver. I believe there may be a fee for reroutes though.

The shipping on this does sting. It's $112 for me which is sort of a buzz kill.

My last payment is on the 20th, but I haven't gotten any notices of any kind.
From what I understand, pay in full customers get those, but flexers don't, right? Will they ship full paying orders prior to flex ones then? Is that how

I called Christina at SS last week about this exact same issue. She said it would ship as soon as my final flex is paid which is June 20th

She said it should be in there warehouse by the 15th so I would say that Monday it starts shipping?

I also asked of it was a split shipment of these and she said no you flexpay on the 20th it ships as soon as payment clears. So maybe they didn't have alot of preorders
