get a custom coffee table made. problem solved

I actually have an Ikea coffee table that I use as a tv stand that would work pretty well. I tried to find a link to it but I guess Ikea doesn't sell them anymore. But I agree that the coffee table is a good idea. Wouldn't need a custom table so much as a custom acrylic or glass cover for the top.

So I think I'm going to go through SS on this one with the drawn out FP schedule. The price is higher and taxes are killer, but it will be nice to know if there's issues that I can easily get it fixed. Also, with the points I'll be getting off of it, it'll kind of even out.

For me, I'm going to get a large, strong, custom made acrylic case for the Batmobile, and have it double as a coffee table.

Custom shelving or a dresser. I'm thinking of getting what looks like a low dresser but with cabinet doors instead of drawers, and keeping all my comics underneath it.

Yeah, you're going to have to get rid of some of your furniture to accommodate for the size of the Batmobiles .

Just think when they release their 1/4 scales figs . Look how big the Tumbler & Batmobile will be then

Man! Those were the days. I remember when I used to play on my power wheel all the time. But, I wish I had a Batmobile when I was a wee lad .

So is it still the stupid 2nd Q 2013 date or has HT come to their senses and changed it to 4th Q 2012.

Discounted shipping is another reason to go with Sideshow. You can't beat their shipping prices on large items.

Do you have a rough estimate of how much Sideshow usually charges for shipping large items? So far, I've only ordered Hot Toys figures from them.

Alter Ego has about 45 for shipping, so it comes out to 611 total, SS was 30 or so if I remember correctly. I think AE is the way to go on this. However like with batman I don't want to wait several months longer to get it.....
