____ it, I'm going with Sideshow.

Now, to use my reward points or use the Valentines code or just not use either so I can earn rewards points from the Batmobile. Hmmm.

The more I look at the pics, it looks like the same old proto they brought out last year. Might explain the dust and Pitu's handprint. Still looks gooood.

...and just say no to the Nolan Batbigwheel. :nana:

I saved my Valentine for a figure.

Use RP if you're going to save more the $31.50 because that's how much you will lose when RP are used.

Just buy it without any assistance from anything. :lol

No matter what, SS will get ya. :gah:

If I do get this, it will likely be through SSC. Flex Pay :yess:

That's the only thing I don't like about them is their rewards and coupon system. It's a step up that they're actually letting you use e-codes for preorders (I actually got a $50 dollar Star Wars promo card for Sideshow one time but couldn't even use it because it was only for certain items) but if I'm going to lose the reward points for the Batmobile by using the rewards or e-code, why can't I use both?

There's always a catch. I earned the points with my purchases and Sideshow sent me the code and yet I can't use both at the same time for the product of my choice? :huh

Wow, $54 dollars off and no RP for the Batmobile is really going to kill their profits.

:exactly::exactly:

They give you rewards (points, gift cards, free shipping) but then punish you for using any combination of them :lol

I get it that if they give you something 100% free because of RP used that they shouldn't give you more reward points, that's fine.

But losing free shipping because gift card is used while everyone else keeps free shipping who didn't use a gift card is punishment for using the gift card. Why even bother sending out the card in the 1st place if you're just going to take it back somewhere else.

Got to go with retailer since I am from ca, save about $90.

Re: Hot Toys Batman 1989: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible Vehicle - Specs & Pics

Alter Ego has about 45 for shipping, so it comes out to 611 total, SS was 30 or so if I remember correctly. I think AE is the way to go on this. However like with batman I don't want to wait several months longer to get it.....

AE also has a $114 NRD versus SS $63 NRD.

Measured the dimensions with a tape measurer, (i suggest everyone do it) and there is no where i could put it, i was close to ordering and all, but it's just too long

I measured the dimensions with a waffle iron. I suggest everybody do it.

Sometimes i really wonder if it's really that hard for people to figure out rooms for things like this ? I mean come on, I am pretty sure people here who can afford these pricey collectibles also have decent house or apartment.

Make a special room or area in the house to display the collection. If it's still a problem, I am sure taking turns on the collection would solve some problems too. Store away some of the old stuff and put out the new stuff if having a special room in the house is a problem.

I have alot of collections too and I can manage, I'm pretty sure you guys can too.

It's really not that hard.

Very tempted at the price, but I just don't have space for it.

Plus, I'm still hung up on the fact that's it's just a big hunk of plastic...

If I end up getting one, i think i'm going to make a blu-ray shelf with a case on top. I can't justify having it take up that much room and not also be a functional piece of furniture. God, is this the point my life has come to?

That is what I was thinking when I first start collect statue, but wheb you have too many of them, it's really hard to think where to put, specially when you have kids, it's harder !!

:exactly: Yeah, once the kid came, I had to be focus much more on protective display options instead of just anywhere I wanted. :lecture

Right, i do understand that alot of you are much older than me and have kids.

That's why i suggested have an actual special room with a full door and a lock and have that as the gallery where you can display the collection.

I have a ton of collections too and I have a special room with a door and a lock to keep them safe when I have parties at my house.
