Those numbers are pretty spot on; I haven't measured it but I had measured the shelf where it now resides beforehand to ensure it was going to fit - and it takes up exactly the amount of space I'd expected. The 16" width is at the rear wheels, and the 39" length includes the tailfins.Thats what I already mentioned, but its approximate .. I need exact.
here is another angle.Relocated the Batmobile to a different table.

Happy collecting!
But thankfully the car itself is scratch free, as is the cocoon. Widows don't have the glue either.
Flawless. 100% scratch-free. And believe me, I was lookin'...
What do I do? My supplier is having issues trying to ship this item from Hong Kong to the states. The box is too big for US standards by .40meters, and Hong Kong post states that the it has to be a combined measurements of 2.75meters for them to send it to the States.
My supplier thought of cutting the box and making it shorter.
I did my research and some HK shippers auctions are having their batmobile shipped with no box. On the good positive note, he inspected the batmobile and it's perfect 100% scratch free, on everything but I was thinking that maybe he could take it out of the box and send it like that and then break down the box and cover and send it as is... either way is risky...
No way would I accept this put of box. I saw some HK dealers trying to ask crazy prices for this, even though its shipped without a box! What a backfire.
Don't do it man. You will end up with a damaged car and no comeback.
Get a full refund. Order locally or from someone who you know will have to deal with tbd issues you find in hand.
Have to say, I've grown to love this. Everyday when I pass by it I stop and look at it for a moment. Kinda sad I suppose! But it is amazing that we actually got a 1/6 version of this that was affordable. And I finally got my FedEx duty bill, not as bad as I had expected, so SS ended being a really good option for me this time around. Thankfully I didn't have any scratches though, not sure what I would have done.
That is the good thing I know the supplier for over 9 nine years so he is good, and I trust him, but for some odd reason I want to believe he would take the batmoblie to HK post and have them deliver it with the size of the box, but US policy is very strict. I will wait and see what he comes up with.
Just got the Batmobile this afternoon - UPS guy practically threw it down, which freaked me out a bit. The shipper and inside box have some scruffs and tear. But thankfully the car itself is scratch free, as is the cocoon. Widows don't have the glue either.
I feel bad for all the guys who received this car with scratches, since it's BS that something this pricey should cause all that headache.
I got mine from sideshow and was ready to call them if it had marks, but I guess I lucked out.
