Bumping my question back up! Any places have any discounts over the holidays?
I've ordered a decent share from both companies, coupons and points aside I really would base this on which you feel comfortable with customer service. I haven't had an issue arise with either regarding product QC, however with the known packing issues with this product, I would suggest you go with which ever company you feel confident can stand behind the product best. In this case, both are stellar companies! Good luck bud, I went SS if that helps any

Thank you for your response. I've ordered from both companies as well and feel confident ordering from either or. I'm just wondering if there is any other vendor that I should consider - mostly from a financial standpoint.

I wanted to share my sadness with you...
Two days ago, when i came back at home i discovered a letter of my retailer with the check of my P.O from July inside and no further information. I went on its website and saw that my order was canceled...
Yesterday i called him and he announced me that his supplier cannot managed to have the quantity expected so he had to cancel a lot of orders...
I was devasted.
I was so excited thinking at this monster, already looking for a nice way to display it...
Now i'm fuc###ed because all i can find begins at 750€ (950$). My order was at 560€ ( 750$). And it's not rare to see offers at 1000€ (1350$)...
So i think i'm done with this gorgeous 1989 batmobile...
So please keep on me dreaming sharing pics!

If sideshow does have a discount, you will lose all the reward points, so if you use a $20 coupon you end up negating a higher value in points back(unless you don't plan to use them)

What are you doing about dust, if anything? Its really bothering me, especially the fact its gonna build up in the detail areas where it won't be easily removed. I'm thinking of putting the shield on it afterall until I get a case for it.

The dust is really a problem =/
even with the shield it gets a lot of dust on it... and it doesn't look like wheatering like on the tumbler
Thats actually not dust on mine. Fibres are breaking off the cloth and sticking to the bodywork. Even little bits of the foam thats so fine. The body is so smooth and wiping it because it's so smooth, it's acting like the effect rubbing party balloons to your hair. Need air dusters to combat it.
sounds horrible. Sounds like it's a must to get a case with these, which means an additional $300 minimum.

Mine is back in the Hot Toys box so no dust for me! 
Just picked this up yesterday. Wont have the time to open it until Saturday... Judging from the box compared to the Tumbler this is HUGHE!

Finally i got one!
After the cancellation of my ex-retailer, i was trying to forget this beauty when i saw all the crazy offers. But i don't know why, thursday evening, i had a look a last time on e-bay to convince me that now it's eally too expensive and i saw an offer from a retailer at 25 kms (15 miles ) from my house at a really decent price, almost the same of my initial P.O. I didn't think more than 10 seconds and i ordred it! It was his last one!
I took back it this morning! Everything is absolutly perfect and flawless, from the car to the box! When i saw the box i wasn't sure it could fit in my little car!
Even after have red all the post, saw all the pictures, i wasn't prepared for the HUGE size of this Monster!!! It's amazing!
So really happy!
