Origins certainly has a different feel to me.

The character designs being different, the VA's being different, the score being different..... It all really makes a difference. I don't dislike it in any way, it just feels very different to the other two games.

I did unfortunately experience a good few glitches playing, the worst being the bug that wouldn't allow you to 100% the story mode. Thankfully they were all fixed with various patches though so they haven't tainted my opinion of the game.

Add me to the list of never experiencing a single glitch.

Yea I'm with you, I'm on my second play through on new game plus and I have yet to experience a glitch. I'm in the camp that loves origins, the story is fantastic, the Joker reveal shocked me as I had no idea he was in the game, this game also probably had the best ending of the three games and I like the costume selections you get with origins compared to city.

With all that said, city is the better game, but I still love origins.

One thing that bothers me about the Arkham series is that it really doesn't offer any difficulty AT ALL. I know they need to make it accessible for all, but how about an extreme level for those that want the challenge? Even on Game +, these games are cakewalk. This is really my only gripe with the series thus far. I always start them in the hardest setting available (the way to do it IMO) and find myself expecting the enemy A.I to pose a challenge. Even the challenges aren't all that bad.

Wow, guess I'm not the only one who didn't experience any glitch...

I don't think he showed 'little cunning or intelligence'....

Maybe phrasing it that way is a little bit much, but what bothers me is when writers shoe-horn Bane into the story with very little thought of his personality. The whole point of his character is that he was able to beat Batman through careful plotting, and this is very much reflected in the comics as most of his major stories involve him as the central conflict of the plot.

I don't mind that he doesn't get major spotlighting due to the "prison break" setup of AA but the least they could do is cut down the whole "RAAARGHHH I BREAK YEW BATMAN!!!" and actually make him seem less like a hulking monster and more of the intelligent bruiser he is in the comics.

Seriously, AO actually showed what Bane should be capable of, an obsessive yet charismatic leader who can stand side by side with the big leagues like the Joker in terms of danger and cunning. The final boss fight with him was just a nice touch in transitioning his AO appearance to the later/normalized monstrosity he is in AA/AC.

I'm with you there. I don't find it difficult at all. I did originally with AA, I found it very hard to keep a combo or handle larger groups of enemies or bosses, this was on the PS3. Then I switched to PC and got playing AA again, it was the same mostly but the controls were more fluid(XB controller) and I got better. Arkham City however just made me unstoppable, probably because I played it so many times. A few months ago I went back and played AA and AC, as well as Origins, and I never died, or got stuck or found any difficulty in it whatsoever, even with the hit prompts turned off and faster enemies. So easy

Even the Joker challenge map and Iceberg lounge is easy. I can easily max out 500+ combos on those levels :ohbfrank:

and Arkham Knight looks easier with Batmans enhanced capabilities but I hope we get to see more enemies who present a bigger challenge, and Riddler needs to get smarter :lol

I guess I just suck lol it took me about 5 hours to get past the penguin's boat part in Origins on new game plus because I kept on dieing, I think it took me about 2 hours to beat deathstroke. I suppose i'm a casual gamer, I just want a well told story, i'm not really in it for the challenge, as long as it's fun to play.

I can't wait for this game to come out so we can stop hearing about Origins vs. AA/AC, Origin Glitches : SHARE YOUR STORIES, Is Origins Good, etc.

(or, more accurately, for the appearance of these topics to be slightly reduced)

I only experienced a few Glitches in Origins as well. Completed, I am the night mode. As for Art direction of Arkham Knight, to me it seems more similiar to Origins then to AA/AC. With all that armor and military outfits.

I loved AA/AC Art direction cause it was more "comic booky" feel to it. The more "realistic" looks and takes I already get enough from the movies.

I'm not bothered by DLC. I went to Best Buy for my LE Pre-Order, as I figure the Red Hood stuff will be available later, but I just want some of those damn Batmobile Editions to free up.

From what I've heard, yes you were. It sounds like they were not on their site very long.

they were up long enough for me to see them but not long enough for me to know they were going to be RARE AS HELL so I didn't order it. :(
