I guess I was also lucky to snag one. I actually got one of each thinking the Bat statue one was going to be the rarest one.

I never had a chance to pre order the collector edition. If the game is good enough, Im hoping to see more AK batmobile collectibles out.

Yup, I had to settle for the Batman statue version instead, after market prices on the Batmobile are going to be ridiculous.

I'm not 100% sure. The same thing happened with the Origins CE, and Newegg had it for like $100 a couple months later. I've ordered stuff, myself, before that I wind up canceling, for one reason or another, so, I'm hoping that happens here. People click the most expensive one because it's the most limited and wind up having to let go of it, when the time comes. At least, I'm hoping that's what happens.:lol

Woah I actually have some major problems with that gameplay video. The suit design is terrible, the voice acting from Conroy seems very inconsistent, the combat hasn't evolved as much as I had hoped but all around it still looks great. That video did raise some fears for me, especially in the voice acting department, that "if you're lying to me" line was cringeworthy.

The Batmobile and the seamless ability to traverse Gotham looks awesome though, but it still looks like one big empty boring city. Hopefully is doesn't always feel that empty in the game.

Kevin Conroy has mentioned that recording for the games has been incredibly difficult as he's alone in the booth delivering variations of the same lines over and over again as apposed to being together with cast members like in BTAS and Justice League, where he could easily react naturally to a person speaking.

Ah, that could be it. He definitely didn't sound as good as he did in the past 2 games based on that video. Hopefully it's not like that throughout.

Even in the past games he sounded off. Most of the time he sounds harsher than he should, especially when reacting to people who were speaking softly to him. It comes down to only reacting to the script as opposed to acting with other actors. Certainly not his fault, but rather the recording conditions.

This is why DC's resident voice director Andrea Romano makes it mandatory for all actors to record together for all the DC stuff. I guess due to reasons unknown, Rocksteady had a different approach.

I don't remember him sounding bad in the past games, at least not distractingly bad like he did in this video.

I'm with Gasper on the suit design, it didn't bother me much before, but just seeing the Orcale video coming out his arm reminded me of dead space and iron man. I guess it makes sense story wise that he should have an awesome high tech suit, but I never associated that with Batman.

I love how on that gameplay trailer, when Batman is about to call the batmobile, the L1 prompt says "Even the odds". :-D

I thought the same wen I watched it this morning. What an atrocity of a suit, just call him Iron Bat already.

While the voice didn't really bother me all THAT much, the combat did. Enemy AI is as dumb as ever, and the whole evade, hit, hit, hit, hit, evade, hit, hit, X1000 hasn't changed AT ALL. It does actually look boring (the combat mechanics) without having actually played it. Why can't anyone make combat as fluid and intense as the Ninja Gaiden games (Itakagi's versions) anymore? Where enemies do actually want to kill you.

It still looks stellar, still a day one purchase, don't get me wrong. We aren't going to get a better Batman game and that's all that matters. But GOTY? Doubtful.

And yes, the Batmobile gameplay is incredible.
