Batman is suppose to be alone. Not have some 12 year old kid wearing green spandex fighting crime with him!
Now, if he's done right, yes he can be awesome. (I'd take a Batman Beyond type of storyline over him running with batman any day.)
I thought I was your least favorite board member?
Nah, you're okay, but Robin is a valuable part of the Batman mythos, and, frankly, he gets too much ****.
Ohhh I hope there's no Robin, his appearance in AC was bad enough. Though, his design was bad ***, it doesn't make him any less of a lamer character.
And that's really cool, you think after playing through the game 5 times, I would have caught that.
And I'd agree with that even tho I liked some of Robin stuff from past. But you see, Batman can go through every single trial you've described, without a Robin. He's useless. He's put in for younger readers.
good one.Aquaman> Robin

Clearly you never read teen titans with Tim drake who is the best robin. Also teen titans show where robin is a complete badass. That 60s show just made him look stupid and he's been a parody ever since.
Robin works as a character, and has for the last 60 years. He functions much in the same way the Doctor's companions do(especially under Moffat and Davies). He keeps Batman grounded. Keeps Bruce from being consumed by the monster he's created. Each one has represented an aspect of Bruce's character
**** Grayson was all about hope. Helping Bruce see the lighter side of his life. It's because of **** that he keeps trophies in the cave. **** is important because he shows that pain doesn't have to motivate you. He has accepted his parent's death, and moved on.
Jason Todd is the anger that drives Bruce. He's what Bruce could be like if the Batman isn't kept under control.
Tim Drake is the brilliant mind. He's the best detective of the 3. And realistically he is the most like Bruce. The mission is all that matters, and nothing comes before the mission.
Damian is his son. And represents the family he has always wanted. I hate that DC let Morrison kill him. He was my fav. I really hope they don't try to replace him.
But you see, Batman can go through every single trial you've described, without a Robin. He's useless. He's put in for younger readers.
I don't care how much someone reads batman comics compared to another, Robin is a stupid character. (Like most of the DC character base). It's just an opinion, doesn't make you "less knowledgeable".
Except that, you know, he's not. Granted, she's not a Robin, but, just for example, the last issue of Batman with Harper Row. He was so undstable, and so pissed about Damian, he didn't know what he was doing. The Batman I know doesn't break teenage girls' noses. If he's capable of that, imagine if she hasn't been there to remind him of why he does what he does. That's what people fail to realize. Batman is only human. Everybody says that's the reason they like him, but the fact of the matter is that he isn't only physically human. He's got the same mental and emotional problems (if not worse) than everyone else. Personally, I think the Robins are therapeutic for him,for reasons not dissimilar to what Darth Zangetsu listed.
I don't know if you read batman regularly, I wasn't implying you, yeah ok Robin is stupid, that's your own crazy opinion, that's alright, my opinion is diametrically opposite, I'm just saying that people who haven't read the comics most likely got stuck with that poor idea about silly & shallow 60's robin.
