I don't care how much someone reads batman comics compared to another, Robin is a stupid character. (Like most of the DC character base). It's just an opinion, doesn't make you "less knowledgeable". :slap

No less stupid than a guy with anger issues getting hit by a lethal dose of radiation and turning into an unstoppable green behemoth?

More stupid than a perpetual teenager, being bitten by a radioactive spider and gaining the ability to stick to walls?

More stupid than 4 scientist being hit by(you guessed it) radiation and gaining super powers?

Stupider than the guy in the giant Rhino suit?

I'm not a marvel hater(I actively read both companies as well as some great indie stuff), but there are far worse ideas in comics in general than Robin.

No, I started hating Robin when he showed up in TAS. To this day, I won't read a batman novel that has Robin in it. I don't read the comics, I read the graphic Novels, so maybe that's why.

I can deal with Nightwing, etc.. An OLDER companion to Batman, but a grade school boy? get da **** outta here...

I respect your opinion though.

:1-1:

Man I think you oughta give it a chance, if you get completely nauseated by it to the point of vomit you can always go back to not reading Robin stuff.

It's just way more serious without robin, I enjoy the "baby sitting" part of Batman.

Don't read the Hulk, movies work.

Spiderman is cool and relatable, (much like batman), no sidekick, yes, cheesy villains, yes, but a loner-character (out of costume).

Fantastic Four? I JUST CAN'T EVEN. What a stupid ****ing idea.

And the Rhino? Stupid as well.

I have to call out this one. Parker hasn't been a loner since he got his powers. He's got his supermodel wife, his aunt, flash thompson, harry osborn(depending on how far into time they go and what's been retconned) and he's on like 6 different versions of the avengers, oh and his best friend Johnny Storm, Felicia Hardy... And he doesn't have a sidekick, because anytime he gets to be over 23, they use some BS to make him a teenager again.(I'm looking at you One More Day!!!)

But spiderman is still the most relatable character in comics. I think Zachary should watch teen titans or young justice to get a better dose of robin. He leads the teen titans and that's some of best roles yet.

If you live and breath batman you'd understand why Robin is such a good character. I know I cant sway you but... Im just saying he's not the ******* you think he is. The 60s gave him a bad image.

The 60's was awesome. People need to stop ****ing putting down the 60's stuff. It was a different time; that doesn't make it any less valid.

We're just saying that 60's batman gave Robin that silly image that hasn't been able to shake off, 60's Batman was great indeed.

True, but it's not hard to see why someone wouldn't like it. It's a campy "magoo" show that NEVER takes itself seriously about one of the most badass comic book characters ever created. :dunno

That's the thing, though. It was arguably the most serious of the time. At least it was somewhat grounded. Remember that this was a time when Batman was riding in spaceships and fighting rainbow monsters in the comics.:lol

Nobodies putting down the sixties stuff... just that 60s robin which DID make the character a laughing stock in the community. I mean come on when the GA think of robin the First thing that comes to mind is.
"Gee wilkihers Batman
Holy blinking wax alloy Batman
"Holy my stocking are to ****ing tight Batman"

List goes on. Robin is beyond that as a character. All 4 robins were badass.

True, But what came before was completely serious. The show just gives me the complete wrong vibe about the character. I understand how some can enjoy it for "what it is." But the the overly silly campy tone just kills it for me.

Back to the game now, has it been said if Conroy is back? He's just as important as Hamills Joker in my opinion.

I'm curious if he is or not. They could get away with not having him in this game if it's a younger Batman, but I hope he's in it.

I'm super excited about this game. I loved AA and AC very much and replay them quite often. Even though Rocksteady is not making this one, I'm confident that if the game follows their formula as close as they can, it'll be another gem of a game.
