Well, that's what they're going for. Nothing screams Superman and Wonder Woman quite like some dreary gray post-apocalyptic wasteland that, I guess they are responsible for? Being the Crime Syndicate and all.

Either that or they are on the Mortal Kombat Annihilation set

I can already imagine the voice-over for the teaser:

Hopeman: "This world has lived in the light much too long. It's time that we brought justice to these people."

Hopewoman (or whatever): "They should be punished for their hubris in the face of gods."

Batman: "It's time for the dawn. . . . . . . . .of mother ****ing justice."

*cue title over post-apocalyptic wasteland, while Linkin Park plays*

Either that or they are on the Mortal Kombat Annihilation set

The primary inspiration for Snyder is obviously Rob Liefeld's body of work. But, I wouldn't be shocked if Mortal Kombat was up there. .not too shocked at all.

Jeezus, still comparing Snyder to Liefeld? Has it caught on yet?

Snyder directorial and cinematographic skills are closer to Alex Ross in comparison to what MS has to offer in that department in like 70% of their movies.

I have no doubts that BVS will look great...but those posters are terrible. Only Batman should be dark and gloomy. The picture of Sups in the rain, looking serious, just doesn't look right, imo. However, haters will hate everything no matter what they do, so even if they have a poster with Sups smiling and a rainbow behind him, some people will find something to make fun of or they'll say he looks too "happy"....and not because of the lack of underwear and giant bulge

I'm sure an official poster won't simply slice together the initial pics released of the big 3, it'll be entirely new. Could still be gloomy for all we know right now but I don't think that is it
