I really do think it's the best, but my favorite is the classic blue with the bat oval because of the use of shadows, and I prefer the slimmer/acrobatic, "World's Greatest Detective" Batman, over the master of all trades depictions.

Same here. This Batman does look (not surprisingly) like Snyder et al.'s best attempt at a Frank Miller Dark Knight Returns but not quite so old Batman. Just bulky as ****. That would definitely be intimidating, but it's not easy for me to imagine him as particularly lithe and acrobatic, which Batman should be IMO. On the other hand, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that a guy that size could move in a truly "athletic" and even graceful manner. Brock Lesnar is a freaking monster, much larger than even Affleck here, but was a champion wrestler, which doesn't happen if you can't move around quickly with agility.

Best looking suit design since 1989.

Even as a 9 year old, I didn't care for the '89 suit. He obviously could barely move in the damn thing, and that's not Batman. Sorry the masses of '89 nostalgiacs out there. Looks OK, though.

Is there even doubt? There was a debate back when it was Baleman suit vs 89, not here, Batfleck is leagues above Keaton and everyone in terms of looks.

Yup, but a lot of people can't let go of the past. The funny thing, it's not even close. :lol I like the TDKT costumes and the Keaton suit too, but Battfleck actually looks like a comic book Batman and Bruce Wayne.

Hopefully HT nails it in one attempt as they pretty much did with Keaton. I don't want to buy a Batfleck only for all the customs to start rolling out making my stock figure look like a POS.

I still have a soft spot for the Begins suit, and probably always will. Reason being is that at the time, Batman in films was a caricature to be ridiculed, and Nolan's suit there got at the spirit of the suit that was logically extended into the Snyderverse version here. I think the Snyder version is better looking, but the impact isn't as strong on me as seeing the first shots of the Begins suit were. At the time, those were a pure revelation. And on top of that, it's not just how the suit looks in a display case, but how it looks and is used on the screen, and I feel the Begins suit worked extremely well in that film. The new suit is great, but it feels like Snyder is standing on the shoulders of a giant in the first Nolan suit.

The TDK/ TDKR suit is beaten to last place only by the Batman & Robin suit for me.

1) Batfleck suit
2) Keaton '89 and Returns suit
3) Batman Begins suit

Well there's obviously a conflict between style and utility. '89 Batman looks great, but can't move for ****. Same for Begins in the head department. Same will probably be the case for Snyder Bats.

I bet most of Batfflecks fight scenes in the film will be mostly CGI, so that way he won't be restricted by the suit like the previous actors.
Sad, but true.
