I loved that episode, loved it.

Re-watching that clip made me think Momoa is kinda perfect for the role, save for not being blond.

...and not being able to actually act.

I actually trace my affection for Aquaman back to Super Friends and the '60s show with Aqualad (that I had a tape of as a kid). Khal Drago doesn't really scream Aquaman to me, obviously. But I never thought the studio would give us a live action Aquaman at all, so I'm not upset about it or anything.

Huh? You say that as if Momoa lacking acting skill was actually a thing. he's decent enough.

The savagery Aquaman showed in that clip is exactly what Momoa has done in the past, I haven't seen Conan but I read from people here that it wasn't Momoa's fault that it was a bad movie, the best examples of Aquamomoa I think come from Stargate Atlantis.







Combine that with a bit of Khal Drogo and can you tell me you don't see JLTAS/JLU Aquaman there?

We all wanted him to play Lobo, Imo Lobo requires a better acting range than Aquaman, and if Chris Pratt and Paul Rudd can play supermemes, I think Momoa can pull off a decent superhero.

He's actually pretty good acting wise in "The Red Road" series.

I would presume that he actually needs some subtlety to play Aquaman? He is supposed to be intelligent right? Maybe I just haven't seen it from him yet.
He was terrible in Thrones I thought, and that role suited his abilities.

Really? I thought he was pretty much the Khal from the book in the flesh, down to a tee, if anything a bit young, but I would think that was intentional the same way Daenerys is portrayed a bit older so the age difference was shorter, otherwise people would've complained about the sex scenes I'm sure

Rumors are flying that a casting decision on the final member of the justice League is imminent. Green Lantern is set to make an entrance.

I don't see how they can have a justice league movie with out all 7 members present. DC this is your year go all out

While I haven't read the books, I liked him quite a bit in GOT. It's just that he was a fairly one-dimensional, macho barbarian guy. And that's not Aquaman.

I like the idea of Pine as Hal. Leto Joker's look is the only thing I find irredeemable about the DCCU so far, I wanted a Joker like the Arkham game series and got a hipster that aside I can't wait for BvS next year.


Also Arkham Joker has reach the top of my Joker list now, best incarnation yet imo. Followed by BAS.
