It's disappointing for me really, it takes me out of it, the slowbro shots are gorgeous, even Superman flying towards Batman and shooting his heat vision looks outstanding, but when Bats evades the shot looks bad, the same for the following fast shot of Supes, it looks bad cause the previous shots look so good.

I hope those are the only ugly CGI shots in the movie, or I hope that by any miracle they don't end up in the final version.

First they cut the trailer then they work on the effects for the needed shots only.
Im pretty sure those are temp shots, the movie is 9 month away.

After seeing Jurassic World, Terminator Genisys, Ant-Man (i.e. almost every Marvel movie ever made) and the trailer for Force Awakens, I've decided I'm not going to get bitchy about how fake, wonky and CGI ridden everything looks now a days. That's just how modern blockbuster movies look now I guess.

I know I was picking at how poor CGI Batman and Superman look in some quick shots in the trailer, but then after thinking about the recent movies and trailers I've seen, that's how 90% of them look. Whatever. I just wish I could personally get past that uncanny valley look.

Good attitude to have, just sit back and relax.

I won't. One of the reasons we're supposed to connect with Batman is because he's a human in a crazy world of aliens, gods, and magic. It's hard to do that when Bats looks like a cgi creation. Kind of ruins the whole god vs man idea they're trying to do, imo.

It just sucks how fake everything looks now, not just Batman v Superman, but every big budget movie. Why can't you film and really show Batman in his armored suit, jumping down on Superman and crashing through the floor? How hard is it to have a shot of Batman on a wall, turning and shooting his grapple gun just in time to avoid a blast? I just don't get it.

There were so many shots with Ant-Man and Yellow Jacket just punching each other in a kid's room that looked so fake to me. The worst is when I see a CGI stunt human being like Steve Rogers, Thor, Pops T-800, etc. in action where you know it looks false to your brain. Reminds me of Spider-Man 3 when Venom unmasks Peter Parker and kicks him down to the streets below. That wasn't Tobey Maguire, that was some PS3 looking version of him. That was 2007, so atleast that has an excuse. But now? C'mon.

I know the Burton and Nolan Batman films had some wonky shots (Joker falling to his death, **** Jones style, that stupid CGI Batpod flip thing against the wall and rolling it did on the streets, that whole video gamey sonar CGI fight, etc.) but for the most part, Batman was real.

I don't recall seeing a model or CG Bats in recent films that stuck out to me like this one. I suspect there were some terrible ones in the Schumacher movies, but I haven't seen them since theatrical release probably. Where were CG Batmen in Begins or Dark Knight?

I think that's what happens when accountants hold the power over creative decisions. And when entertainment is created for the lowest common denominator, and that audience has become acclimated to watching what amounts to a high-end cartoon.

I wonder what Episode VII will actually look like, in the end. And if it will influence anything.

The BB roller baby droid looks fake to me in the trailer, but supposedly it is indeed real. I know Abrams had a few shots that looked just like Snyder's like that zoom, zooooom into the action shots for vehicle flying or Superman flying action. The troopers at that imperial ceremony all looked fake, dunno if they were.

I think the real thing missing is that film grit. Everything is too sterile, polished or something now. Maybe it's just me.

BB when he drops down in the steps with all the bats flying around him, 100% cgi Batman, even his landing and walking away.

TDK too many to mention. :lol

It is all very sterile and polished. Even the smoke Batfleck runs into is cgi.

You can blame me, in the 80s and 90s I used to scream at the screen saying screw these bad effects I want fast and polished!

Those aren't 100% CGI. They're real shots with digital FX added. None of the Nolan films used a 100% CGI Batman model. Not like MOS or the Spider-Man movies, etc. that use 100% computer generated character models that usually look fake.
