I saw this today attached to Ant-Man. I thought there was something "off" about the trailer, I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Now I know.

People were actually "oohing" and "ahhing" over it which surprised me. I hear some gasps when Superman ripped Batman's hatch off the Batmobile. Same with Mission Impossible and it's plane scene.

I thought the trailer was nice, but that music! I felt like I was in a fight with the invisible man. I guess Snyder went back to Zimmer and is over powering bombastic score. That's another thing about MOS the music was like watching Transformers 4. BOOOOM, BOOOOM, BADA BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!

Zimmer score was fantastic.

That music from the trailer is definitely not Zimmer(I don't know for a fact but I'm 99% sure it's neither Zimmer nor JXL), it's just stock music they use for all the trailers.

I wasn't keen on the music of the trailer either, precisely because of that, sounds like generic epic trailer music.

Now the teaser music, definitely Zimmer with a little JXL.

The red capes are coming gets even worse.

Senator sounds like Tweety Bird.

That kind of power...is very dangerous.

Who talks like that.

No **** Senator obvious!

Nuclear weapon.....that kind of power...is very dangerous.

Ugh I know, every time I hear that line I dislike it more.

So many options, the red cape is coming, the capes are coming or just leave it at the redcoats are coming.

To be fair, Congressmen do talk like that :lol

They're not the most eloquent people.

I doubt that Kal told everyone that his planet exploded and that Zod and co were the last of his race.
Wont be surprising that Lex is playing the coming invasion card.
More red capes are coming, more Kryptonians, more superheros like Supes and Bats...

Kneel before Lex

Another thing about the trailer that is interesting is the fact Superman says not one word through the whole thing. Which says a lot about the character.

Comic book writer Grant Morrison, who just finished work on Wonder Woman: Earth One, isn't fond of the way the character is being portrayed in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

"It’s finished now and it’ll be coming out soon," he told Nerdist when asked about his upcoming comic. "I sat down and I thought, 'I don’t want to do this warrior woman thing.'"

"I can understand why they’re doing it," he continued, speaking to BvS' take on Wonder Woman. "I get all that, but that’s not what [Wonder Woman creator] William Marston wanted, that’s not what he wanted at all!

"His original concept for Wonder Woman was an answer to comics that he thought were filled with images of blood-curdling masculinity, and you see the latest shots of Gal Gadot in the costume, and it’s all sword and shield and her snarling at the camera," he continued. "Marston’s Diana was a doctor, a healer, a scientist. So I went back to those roots and just built it up again."

What you think of Zack Snyder's more warrior-centric take on the character in Dawn of Justice? Let us know in the comments, and for more on Wonder Woman, read Gal Gadot's thoughts on playing the iconic superhero.

JYE, I hope you aren't referring to Holly Hunter in your tweety bird posts. If you are, I'm gonna chalk it up to your having a bad day. Because otherwise, we're going to have to have some words. Serious words.

After seeing Jurassic World, Terminator Genisys, Ant-Man (i.e. almost every Marvel movie ever made) and the trailer for Force Awakens, I've decided I'm not going to get bitchy about how fake, wonky and CGI ridden everything looks now a days. That's just how modern blockbuster movies look now I guess.

I know I was picking at how poor CGI Batman and Superman look in some quick shots in the trailer, but then after thinking about the recent movies and trailers I've seen, that's how 90% of them look. Whatever. I just wish I could personally get past that uncanny valley look.

I love Morrison, and he has always been opposed to any sort of realism in comics, his stuff is always abut the craziest metaphysical and esoteric ****, ironically enough he's a big fan of Moore, who's pretty much the opposite, Moore being one of the biggest proponents of realism and violence in comics.

I don't get why people dislike a bit of realism in these movies, it's not like there's nothing other than realism, Marvel has the jokes and stuff, Fox is like in the middle, and DC has more serious stuff, there's something for all cravings, isn't that a good thing?

About his WW complaints, that is not the way WW has been portrayed just in BvS, but in pretty much the entirety of her existence.

It's disappointing for me really, it takes me out of it, the slowbro shots are gorgeous, even Superman flying towards Batman and shooting his heat vision looks outstanding, but when Bats evades the shot looks bad, the same for the following fast shot of Supes, it looks bad cause the previous shots look so good.

I hope those are the only ugly CGI shots in the movie, or I hope that by any miracle they don't end up in the final version.

That actually fixes the line for me, he's just speaking in hypothetical terms of Supes possibly being the 1st of his kind, I remember now in the teaser, you can even hear a line from someone saying "they sent their warrior".

Thanks :lol
