though I bet DC would keep the reigns so tight, it'd most likely prevent him from doing anything "cool" with it? which should actually probably KILL his interest in it, in the first place? to my understanding he fought quite hard to get Fury Road out of development hell and to get it made his way...

We know Shannon is in the flick as a corpse, but now he says he's acting on set... and he doesnt know what he will be.Reminds me of some stuff he said about the armor for Man of Steel, while he was shooting in green suit he hoped that Snyder would make him look good after feeling ridiculous on set but had no idea.

Prediciton: Zod's DNA will be harvested to produce a clone of the last bad Kryptonian. This clone will be given horrific environments to survive and will repeatedly perish. Each successive clone's DNA is harvested and the process repeated. This will result in accelerated evolution of a being able to survive in the most dangerous of environments. Eventually producing Doomsday.

Batman then re-thinks the LaBeef he's had with Supes as he comes to an understanding that there exist mega-threats that require a Superman. Thus the Justice League is born.

You're not missing anything, it's pretty much a baseless rumor.

GM was actually going to direct a JL movie way back, and I don't remember why it was cancelled.

I would give complete creative freedom to Miller to design Brainiac.
