Team Iron Man vs Superman

Team Capt vs Batman.

Still think Fox should FU Marvel and join with WB and give us X-Men vs Justice League.

Eventually there will be a cinematic DC/Marvel crossover, but not until 2030 or so.

That's if we don't wipe ourselves clean off this earth first. :lol

He shows Iron Man how it's done. No hot rod red required.

I'm just curious why Kent would be there. I could understand Diana masquerading as some sort of foreign diplomat (which, technically, is accurate, I suppose;lol), but why Kent? Isn't that a bit above his paygrade to be rubbing elbows with billionaires and dignitaries? Unless he just gets in because everyone knows he's Superman. I kind of want everyone on the planet to see right through the disguise but just be so scared ****less of him that they play along. Kind of like that crazy kid's family in The Twilight Zone movie.

CK: Jimmy, can you run down and make a few copies of this?

Olsen: Yes, sir. Right away, Super-

*Clark cocks his head to the side, glaring furiously at Jimmy*

...uh, Clark...Mr. Kent; right away, Mr. Kent.

CK: Great, thanks, Jimbo.

*winks and shoots a finger gun at Jimmy, who is cowering in fear.*

CK: Hey, Lois. You decide what you want for dinner tonight?

Lois: Clark, I haven't seen my parents in 5 years, y-you said I could visit...

CK: YOU'LL SEE YOUR PARENTS, LOIS! God! All I want is to have a nice dinner and, and-you know, my parents DIED when I was an INFANT! You don't see me whining all the time!

*the floor begins to rumble from the shouting*

Steve Lombard: I thought your folks lived in Kansas, Clark?

*Clark stares back at Lombard, his eyes flaring up from his heat vision, as Lombard grabs his papers, looks down at the ground, and shuffles away*

It would explain how he was able to get a job at an award winning newspaper without having ever gone to school for journalism.:lol

Two weeks ago, Man of Steel star Michael Shannon made a strange reveal about the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, telling Vulture: “In the sequel I have flippers instead of hands.”

Now in an interview with The Daily Beast, Shannon says he made up this bit of information.

“Somebody was asking me about this in New York and I made up some ridiculous bulls**t answer about how my character Zod has flippers, and this went viral on the Internet or something and people have been asking me about that. That is so obviously a complete bulls**t story, right? But people took it seriously.”

Secrecy is a big tool for studios and filmmakers on these gigantic tent-pole movies. We’ve seen it in action with Marvel Studios and all of their films, WB’s Man of Steel, and most notably with J.J. Abrams and the cast of Star Trek Into Darkness; half-truths and misleading quotes are simply a part of the promotional game now. This raises a question, however. Which time was it that Michael Shannon “made up some ridiculous bullsh**?” Is he in fact trying to preserve a secret from the upcoming film by saying he made up the initial quote or did he really make up a story about being trapped in a porta potty, and if so, why?

Shannon did go on to talk about his time on the set of “Dawn of Justice,” saying he didn’t put on a costume but simply provided voice over work.

“The thing about the whole Krypton universe, apparently, is that even when you destroy them, there are ghosts. The first [film], Jor-El is there even though he’s been dead for lord knows how long…I went over and did some voice-over stuff because it’s like that ghost thing. But I don’t know if I’m supposed to say that. I get very nervous.”

Warners may want more Dark Knight.
By DEVIN FARACI Sep. 08, 2015

The script for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice* with which I am familiar is very heavy on Superman. It's definitely a Superman story, one that features Batman in a strong supporting role (and Wonder Woman in a smaller supporting role). That's the movie - this is a film about Superman and his impact on and place in the world.

But what if, Warner Bros execs are asking, it wasn't? What if there was more Batman in this Superman movie? That is the rumor Heroic Hollywood is hearing, that Warner Bros wants edits or reshoots to add some more Dark Knight to Zack Snyder's latest film.

Is this true? Maybe! It's hard to say at this stage of the game. There's certainly plenty of time to bring Affleck back for some reshoots, and maybe to drag Leto along for the ride. There's a belief that the DC movies are more artistically driven, but from where I'm sitting they seem to be exactly as corporate driven as any other blockbuster - it just so happens that Zack Snyder and the execs are often on the same page. That means changes could be decreed from up high, changes like "Give us more Batman in this movie."

If the decision is just to add more Batman that's easy and doable enough. But Heroic Hollywood indicates they're hearing WB wants less Superman as well, and I just don't know how they do that, based on the shooting script. Again, this is Superman's movie, and cutting him down would have to impact the story on some level. More Batman makes sense. Less Superman? I have skepticism that they can pull that off without distorting the movie terribly.
