This trailer really took away all the tension between Batman and Superman because by the end of the trailer they're acting like buddies. We knew it was going to happen, but still, the Batman VS Superman selling point of the film and the merchandise is kind of pointless now when they show the ending...:dunno

b-but we have jokes now...

Meh, it's not like I care for whether these 2 guys fight or not. They're just strangers, not friends or even teammates. So really, the fight carries no emotional weight. Let's just get this over with so we can see them cracking jokes while fighting Brainiac or something...

Well, I'm disappointed in this latest trailer for several of the reasons that have already been mentioned. It started out fine, but things started to go south when Eisenberg's Lex showed up. It's probably not fair to be overly critical of someone's performance when you've only seen a few seconds of it in a trailer. Maybe this take on Lex will grow on me, but for now, I can only say that it's at this point in the trailer where the tone shifts dramatically from the tone we saw in the previous two trailers, and even the clip that premiered on Gotham a couple days ago.
To be fair, I'm not as disappointed as some, in the look of Doomsday (assuming that is, in fact, Doomsday). To me, he more or less looks like Doomsday (minus a few spikes, I guess). Where I think they messed up however, was revealing him in this trailer at all. It gives away too much of the plot, and it feels like another point in the trailer where the shift in tone is pretty jarring.
And that brings me to my last criticism. The editing for this trailer seems strange. There are a lot of shots in this trailer that, by themselves, are really cool shots. But as a whole, everything seems sort of thrown together. It's a shame because I thought the Comic Con footage was really well put together.
While I'm still really looking forward to seeing the movie, this did seem like a step backwards.
For now, I'm still holding out hope that this was just a bad misfire on the trailer, and doesn't reflect the final product.

I'm so disappointed right now :( There's one thing that's giving me

(hope), and that's the nightmare sequence. I don't think it's Batman's nightmare, it might be Wonder Woman's nightmare of the future. Those flying monsters in the nightmare scene look a lot like Darkseid's army. It could be some foreshadowing of Justice League, but if that's the case and it is her dream, then it'll look very similar to Thor's Jacuzzi dream in AOU.

I don't get how you can go from a gritty feel, the shots of the batmobile firing the machine gun causing what looks like real explosions, batman lighting the bat signal in the rain, batman fighting with the guys in the desert, to this. It seems like one half of the film is going to be cgi and the other half isn't. Previous trailers have made me think this was going to be gritty and grounded now this trailer has turned that upside down and I don't really know what to expect.

I like the idea of doomsday somewhat. I'd rather leave him out though. I feel like it's a little 'out there' for my tastes. I'd rather them just fight a kryptonite armed lex luthor. I just don't think a big giant cgi monster suits this film or universe at all.

I want the russo's to direct DC films.

One thing is for sure though. Affleck is killing it. This is batman straight from the comics. Angry when needs to be yet still cracks one liners.

Didn't watch the trailer, but reading everyone's posts...
I think I'll stream this one online like I did with AoU, TG and FF.
Payin' for "Jerkassic Whorld" was painful enough.

I just watched the trailer and it just feels uneven, like it doesn't know what it wants to be.
Well... Producers couldn't care less about the film quality, only the numbers of purchased tickets.

The trailer is definitely a mess editorial wise. Strange choice to give away a major plot device in a trailer but I did like a few moments such as the Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne conversation, the look and feel of Affleck as Batman and Wonder Woman :Yess:.

I'm indifferent to "Doomsday". His look doesn't bother me however it doesn't it thrill me either.

Lex Luthor...not the Lex I think of when it comes to Superman but I'll wait to see the movie to see the full portrayal of the character.

Wonder Woman looks amazing IMO

Agreed. Wonder Woman looks great and I can't wait to see her on the big screen. :yess:

If there is anything to be learned from all the reedited fake trailers yu can see these days, its that yu can take the best movies in the universe and make them look like **** or change completely the tone, take the Shinning fake trailers.
This a trailer for the mass dumb Marvel pop corn dating crowd.
That dont fool me just because of two punchlines, and some humor (ohhhh god humor in a DC comic movie, but they said no humor in one rumor, and i got angry for 10000 pages and now there us humor, im so angry the movie is not What the rumor if i think it is...!!!!!! Oh i hate dc!!!!).
If you really believe too that yu already seen all the movie guess again.
Doomsday is meh but i love Michael Shannon si he should be a lot a fun in full vengeance from the grave mode.
It clearly not WW entrance in the movie, shes there before and kicking ass too, but both heroes dont know her agenda.
Its gonna be really cool, one thing tho, feel very generic camera wise.
I hope More snyderism will make it to the movie.
