The trailer is definitely a mess editorial wise. Strange choice to give away a major plot device in a trailer but I did like a few moments such as the Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne conversation, the look and feel of Affleck as Batman and Wonder Woman :Yess:.

I'm indifferent to "Doomsday". His look doesn't bother me however it doesn't it thrill me either.

Lex Luthor...not the Lex I think of when it comes to Superman but I'll wait to see the movie to see the full portrayal of the character.

Agreed. Wonder Woman looks great and I can't wait to see her on the big screen. :yess:

Pretty much sums up my thoughts. It didn't leave me with a burning desire to see the film (tho I will). Lex felt like a modern day Hackman but being a few secs in a trailer hard to judge.

No matter what anybody says here on this forum...especially the negative guys...you are gonna give WB your money to see it...no matter what :)

What a horrible mess of a trailer. Too much CGI, pop promo 90's editing and cheesy juvenile performances.
Batman & Robin had a better trailer.

Yikes. The one good moment (with Womer Woman) probably ruined her appearance in the movie.

Actually I'm not. I did with Man of Steel, and this looks like it has more of the same issues that movie had. Jesus every shot looks so VFX-y that it looks like a weird cartoon.

Well at the very least we'll get some nice dolls out of this.

Batman looks to have a cloth suit instead of silly rubber.

Agreed, it wasn't the best trailer but I imagine most of you in here will still go and pay to see this movie at the cinema. May aswell save your energy until after then so you can have a proper rant if you still don't like it.

Everything Batman/Wayne looks great! :rock

I would quite happily pay to see an Affleck Batman movie.
I hope this doesn't piss in the pot too much before we get that.

One thing I find peculiar/funny is how everyone's all "they turned a masterpiece into Marvel crap". Apparently Marvel makes only ***** nowadays, and they have "influenced" Snyder. Because Snyder is a master filmmaker who would have delivered the comic book equivalent of Citizen Kane, and Marvel makes movies for 5 year olds. You ask me, a movie which stays true to the comics and doesn't take itself too seriously is much better than a pretentious flick with hamfisted messages. "God vs Man" is as overplayed as straight up "Good vs Evil", it's not new or intellectual. It's just the lazy director's road to "greatness". Sure, I'd rather find the golden section, but if I had to choose between "darkness, no parents" and "you've got a friend in me", I'll be going with the latter...

Get off your high horse, all movies are about people dressing in silly costumes and punching stuff. Comic Book movies can be deep, just not superhero stuff. A Sandman movie can be deep for example. But a Spider-Man movie? A Wonder Woman movie? They're all popcorn flicks, no matter how much gritiness you add to it. Violence doesn't equal quality. And again, we're talking about f@cking Snyder here, the guy behind Sucker Punch and 300, not 12 Years a Slave...

Well, that was certainly all over the place.

There must've been some interesting battles going on behind the scenes for the tone of this movie.

Why bother reading the leaked script when you can just watch the trailer.

Way to go ruining Wonder Woman's intro.

Doomsday is a mix of Ninja Turtle, Cave Troll and Abomination!

But the 3 obviously look great.

The title of this movie makes no sense. :lol

Oh well i'm too excited for Star Wars to lose sleep over this.

Likewise :lol

So I'm guessing that thing was Doomsday and will be the equivalent of Bane in B&R

Not liking how flamboyant Luthor is, particularly the 'I just got hit in the balls' pitch of his voice. Not liking how xenophobic Batman appears either.

We had that. It's the highest rated Marvel movie of them all

But was it "deep" in the way that most use the word? No. It was still corny, and cheesy at times but it was a good movie. That's what I'm getting at. CBMs can be good. But they can never be as good as a "normal" film. And that's okay. Same goes for horror movies or sci-fis. What I'm getting at is that darkness and violence and hopelessnes do not equal a complex or deeply layered film. Sometimes a "comedy" is much better than a "drama"...

I personally didn't care for it. I haven't read a lot of DC comics to verify this claim, but these characters are nothing like what I am used to, especially Lex. I just hope his loony toon attitude is just a mask to cover up his genius maniacal self.

I was ok with the interaction between the main characters, but what was with Lex Luthor? They made him like some wacky/crazed mad scientist.
